Amanda and Jessica shared the role of
Stephanie for two years. The identical twins started at the age of 6
weeks. They left the role when Stephanie moved to LA with her mom,
Kayla.

The first pictures of the new
family. Steve and Kayla were so excited that their daughter
had arrived. Amanda as Stephanie
Steve couldn't believe how
tiny she was. He said she was so beautiful. Amanda as
Stephanie
Steve looked at Stephanie
{Amanda} and said, "I'm your daddy."
Steve thanked Kayla for his
little girl. He couldn't say it enough. "Thank you
Sweetness." Amanda as Stephanie
Steve and Kayla couldn't get
enough of their gorgeous daughter. They hated for her to
leave for just a few minutes to be weighed.
Neil brought Stephanie
{Jessica} back and Kayla had her first few minutes alone
with her daughter. She asked Stephanie if she knew how much
her daddy and mom loved her.
Kayla told Stephanie {Jessica}
that they were going to take good care of her. She said
Stephanie would be the happiest little girl in the
world.
Caroline was the first
relative to see Stephanie {Amanda}. Kayla asked if she
wanted to hold her. Caroline said she didn't need to ask, of
course she did.
Stephanie {Amanda} watched
Kayla as Caroline held her. She knew who her mom
was.
Kayla said she couldn't
describe the way she felt. Caroline assured her that that's
how she felt with all of her kids and it just got stronger
everyday. Amanda as Stephanie
The other grandparents finally
arrived. They were just awestruck with Stephanie's {Amanda}
beauty. Jo thought she looked like Steve and Shawn thought
she looked like Kayla. Caroline said she had a presence of
her own.
Steve and Kayla decided that
both Stephanie {Jessica} and Kayla needed some rest, so
Steve put her back in her bassinet. They wouldn't rest for
long...Marcus arrived with some "interns" on the OB-GYN
rotation.
The "interns" were actually
aunts and uncles that Marcus was sneaking in. {L to R}
Kimberly {Patsy}, Adrienne {Judi}, Stephanie, Kayla and
Marcus {Richard}.
Kim and Roman thought she was
just as cute as their little Kayla was.
Adrienne {Judi} got to hold
Stephanie next. Roman {Drake} and Kim {Patsy} looked on.
Adrienne couldn't believe how perfect she was.
Jack dressed as a nurse and
snuck in with a video camera. Steve called him Nurse
Jacqueline. He filmed the happy family. Neil walked in and
caught them, sending them all out of the room. Jack hid in
the corner and wasn't kicked out.
Jack was very nervous about
holding his niece. She was already fussing when they passed
her over. Jack looked at Steph, then Steve and Kayla and
said, "Yeah, she really likes me."
Kayla was heart broken when
she had to stay in jail after the birth of Stephanie. Kayla
thought it was best if Steve took Stephanie home, instead of
keeping her in jail with her.
