Isabella Black

Isabella Black was born on October 21, 1993 to John Black and Dr. Marlena Evans at the Horton Cabin on Smith Island. Assisting in her birth were John Black and Kristen Blake. Belle was named after Isabella Beatrice Toscano-Black who died close to one year before her birth on October 16, 1992. Belle's birth certificate was finally changed to recognize John as her father on June 25, 1999.

Godparents are: Roman Brady and Lexie Carver. It was going to be John Black, but the day of her baptism they found out John was her father, not Roman.

Brady and Belle Black

The character of Belle was first played by twins Brianna and Chalice Fischette. They were replaced in 1995 by twins Megan Brianna and Morgan Brittany McConnell. In April 1998, Ashlyn and Kayley Messick took over the role for two months. On August 21, 1998, Chelsea Butler began in the role of Belle. Kirsten Storms appeared as the first teenage Belle a little less than a year later.
