All of the family headed to the pub for the 1998 Christmas celebration. Eric immediately grabbed Brady {Eric} and lifted him off the ground. |
Chelsea was tired, so she rested on Dee's shoulder. Jensen continued playing with Eric. He had his hands and was moving them up and down, lightly pounding on his chest. |
When they arrived at the hospital to hear the Christmas story, Marlena said, "There's Carrie." Belle and Brady {Brandon} ran to see her and get a good spot for listening. |
Brady {Brandon} and Belle listened carefully as Mike told the story of the first Christmas. This was the first year they had been at the hospital for this special event. |
Brady {Brandon} had Belle's doll and was chasing her around the penthouse. Belle was screaming and then yelled, "Stop!" |
Brady {Brandon} stopped when John said, "Hey, come on." John grabbed the doll from Brady's hand and yelled, "Knock it off Brady!" |
Belle seemed to be gloating as she looked at her doll while John was talking to Brady. Such a typical sibling action! |
John wasn't yelling, but he was very upset. He said to Brady {Brandon}, "How many times have I told you...you don't tease your sister." |
Brady looked very sad. He'd never heard his dad so angry. What a great acting job by Brandon! |
Chelsea came in and said it was time for school. That meant it was time for goodbye hugs. |
Marlena said, "Come here, Belle." Brady {Brandon} started over too, but held back since Marlena didn't say his name. She reached out and pulled him in for a hug too. |
Marlena looked at Brady {Brandon} and reminded him, "Daddy loves you." He nodded his head. John was still upset about the situation. |
Marlena whispered to Belle, "Have a good day. I love you." |
John asked Brady {Brandon} to give him five as his goodbye. |
Brady and Chelsea headed for the door. Belle had to run to catch up. |
John was reading Belle and Brady {Eric} a fairy tale. It was just ending as we began hearing it. John read "...and all their dreams had come true." |
As Drake finished reading, his voice got very dramatic and sappy. He even threw in some fake crying. Eric was looking right at him, enjoying his performance. |
John pushed his elbow out to hit Belle's. She immediately pushed back, then smiled and pinched his arm. |
Brady {Eric} asked his dad, "When are you and mommy going to get married?" Marlena was just coming down the stairs and she added, "That's a good question Brady." |
When Marlena came down and modeled her dress, Belle ran to her saying, "You look beautiful mommy." Marlena replied, "Thank you sweet girl." |
Brady {Eric} didn't want to give up on the subject. He said, "I think you should get married like in the story." John and Marlena agreed that was a good idea. |
Marlena said it was time for "Sweet goodnight kisses." |
First Brady kissed Marlena, then Belle got her chance. |
After Chelsea kissed Deidre, she immediately looked over at Drake and gave him a big smile. She ran over for her kiss. |
Belle kissed dad, then Brady kissed him. Then the kids had a race upstairs to see Chelsea. |
