Brady and Isabella Black

Maggie brought the kids in to tell John goodbye. John thanked Maggie for taking such good care of his kids. John was sentenced to death for the murder of Tony DiMera. Brianna played Belle in all of the scenes in which John was telling the children goodbye. Pictured: Eric as Brady and Brianna as Belle

John sat Brady {Eric} and Belle {Brianna} down and began to tell Brady why he had them there. John to Brady: "I need you to listen to me very carefully, because what I have to tell you is very important." Brittany, Brianna, Eric and Brandon are so close to Deidre and Drake and were so young that it was hard for them to know it was just acting.

John to Brady {Eric}: "I want you to try and understand what I am about to tell you, Brady. You might not take it all in right now because you are still a little guy, but right now I want you to try and be a little man.

John: "Daddy might have to go away, but if I do, Marlena is going to take care of you and make sure you have everything you need. Promise me, you are going to be a good boy, grow-up strong and loving and caring, especially to your little sister Belle {Brianna}, because she is going to need you. Can you do that for daddy?" Brady {Eric} replied by nodding his head "yes."

John: "I knew you would, because you are such a good boy." Pictured: Eric as Brady

Brady {Eric} went and sat with Marlena as John talked with Belle.

John to Belle {Brianna}: "You are so beautiful, just like your mom. I have had so many dreams about you and your brother growing up."

John:"How can those dreams just die?" Brady:"Are you ok Daddy?" As John began to cry, Brady {Eric} jumped off Marlena's lap and came over to comfort his daddy. The tears were rolling after this scene. Also pictured: Brianna as Belle

John: "Of course big guy, I just love you and your sister so much." Pictured: Eric as Brady

John then sat Brady {Eric} and Belle {Brianna} down and took a long look at them as the tears rolled down his face.

Brady {Eric} and Belle {Brianna} were leaving as John called out to Maggie to wait. He then told Belle and Brady "I love you" Brady replied: "I love you too, Daddy."

As Brianna began to cry, Eric was there to give her a little hug. She was ok after that. The McConnells and Billings worked together for three years and they got along great.

After John was found not guilty he was reunited with his kids. Kristen went and got them out of bed, so they could see their father. Brady and Belle were played by Brandon and Brittany.

Pictured with Drake: Brittany and Brandon. John told the kids he loved them so much. Brady replied, "I love you too, daddy." Everyone in the Pub got a kick out of Brandon talking because each time he talked he sounded so sincere.

Mickey and Maggie offered to take Brady {Brandon} and Belle {Brittany} back to bed. John was tired too, after the trial and the gas chamber. John was so happy he had his children back.

John kissed Brady and Belle {Brittany} good night. He told them he loved them again. Brady {Brandon} replied again, "I love you too, daddy."

Kristen had this fantasy dream, about her and John being a family with "their" children. Left to right, Kristen, John Jr. (before the real John Jr. was born), Brady {Brandon}, John and Belle {Brianna}.

John with Belle {Brianna} and Brady. Brady turned to tell his dad the baby was poking him. Drake and Eileen were both laughing in this scene because Brandon kept saying "he's poking me".

Brady {Eric} wanted his dad's attention again. He wanted to go look at the "bird house." Also pictured Deidre as Marlena and Brianna as Belle.

Brady and Belle were playing keep away with John and Marlena, it was boys against girls.
