Belle and Marlena were both dressed in red for their trip to see Santa.

John grabbed Belle {Brittany} and they headed out the door. Belle was wearing the same coat that Abby {Paige and Ryanne Kettner} wore during winter in 1994.

Belle was very excited about seeing Santa.

Deidre knew exactly how to keep Brianna entertained as they waited in line. Deidre loved working with Brianna and Brittany and says she's learned a lot about children through being a mom herself.

As a professional actress dealing with children, she always thought she understood how to work with child actors, being sensitive to their needs and comfort levels. Now that she's a mom, she know's that's not nearly enough. "You have to play with them every time you see them. Draw them out with hugs and play and real conversation." Dee says that asking a child, "Are you OK?" or "Are you having fun?" will elicit a lot of nods, but not many words. Dee now asks questions that force the children to connect in a different way, and therefore use words.

Belle yawned a bit during the long wait.

While John was trying to call Kristen, Marlena got their picture with Santa. Both Marlena and Belle looked carefully at the picture.

Belle, Brady and John all got suckers after visiting Santa. Belle made the most adorable faces as she sucked on hers. She was really working on it.

Jennifer and Abby came over to talk with Marlena about Laura, who was still missing. In probably their only scene together, both Abby and Belle ended up on John's "cookie train" to the kitchen.

As her nephew Will took his first steps on Christmas Eve, Belle clapped for him with Marlena's help.

Brittany/Brianna was either being shy here or was very tired. Deidre just held her and rubbed her back as she rested on her shoulder.

John hugged Belle while Belle hugged her doll. After John got up, Belle sat on the couch with her hands folded on top of the doll's head.

Belle watched as Marlena talked to Carrie about Austin. She seemed to get bored though and started sticking out her tongue.

While Marlena talked to Carrie, Brittany started feeling her coat with her tongue. She stuck her tongue out to touch the coat, then put her lips right up too it. It must have had a funny texture. It happens to be the same coat worn by Paige and Ryanne Kettner as Abby in the winter of 1996.
