Brianna and Brittany McConnell

Here's the movie poster for Baby Geniuses, which also stars Christopher Lloyd and Kathleen Turner as the evil doctors who hold the babies captive. Brittany and Brianna spent the first three months of 1997 filming the movie Baby Geniuses. The release of the film was postponed numerous times, but it was finally released March 12, 1999.

These photos come from the movie trailer, where we see the girls in the lab of a scientist trying to break the code of the baby language they're speaking in. Brittany above and left, Brianna right and below.

The babies longed to get out of the lab, where their every movement was watched. Brianna as Lexi.

Brittany and Brianna {shown here} share the role of Lexi, a baby that lives at BabyCo with Sly, the main star of the movie. Sly thinks of Lexi as his girlfriend, so when he breaks out of BabyCo, he tries to take Lexi with him. When she refuses to go, he promises to come back for her. None of the children seen onscreen spoke for real. There were older children or teenagers who performed their voices. The voice of Lexi is Lexi Thomas.

Brittany and Brianna {shown here} had very curly hair, and lots of it, for parts of the movie. If they were not wearing the little white hats, they wore hair extensions or a wig. They looked very cute with their new hairstyle. The promotional beanie that depicts Lexie featured the McConnells' gorgeous blue eyes and the same curly hair that they had in the film.

Brianna {shown here} enjoyed her time working on the movie. She got a chance to work with a lot of other twins and even triplets Leo, Myles and Gerry Fitzgerald, who shared the roles of the two main characters, Sly and Whit. Sly lived at BabyCo while his twin, Whit, had been adopted by the family who ran the day care.

Brittany {shown here} also enjoyed her time. Some of the other twins were Connor and Griffin Leggett who played Basil, Jacob Daniel and Zachary Handy {Duby} and Amanda and Caitlin Fein, who played Teddie.

Brittany {left} and Brianna {right} also had a chance to act in a few scenes with Ashlyn and Kayley Messick, not knowing that the next year, they would take over the role of Belle on DAYS.

This was the first scene of Baby Geniuses that we saw the McConnells in. They were playing a baby in the daycare. It was the only time they were seen at the daycare. Throughout the rest of the movie, they played Lexi at BabyCo. We're not sure if it is Brianna or Brittany, since the scene was too far away.
