Caitlin Wachs

Caitlin made a guest appearance on Pretender on March 6th 1999. She played Faith Parker, Miss Parker's adopted sister.

Caitlin's character died as a young girl. Jarod and Miss Parker both had flashbacks of when they first met Faith. They became friends with Faith, even though they all knew their time together was going to be short. Faith died without ever knowing that she was Miss Parker's sister, not just her friend.

Faith sat up in her bed and introduced herself as Faith. Miss Parker introduced herself next, then explained that Jarod and Angelo lived at the Centre and she was there with her father.

Faith explained that she had been sick. She told the kids that she was all alone. The kids had been her first vistors in months except for all the doctors.

Miss Parker told Faith she was all alone too. Except for Angelo who didn't talk much, and Jarod, she didn't have many friends. Her father was always too busy and her mother died. Faith and Miss Parker agreed to be friends. Miss Parker told her "I've never had a real girlfriend before."

The kids heard the doctors coming so they left in a hurry. Miss Parker told Faith not to tell anyone that they were down there. She said "I won't tell, I promise." She wasn't going to tell because she wanted them to come back.

Jarod and Miss Parker were both having flashbacks of Faith. Jarod had crashed a plane and was out in the cold all night long. Faith appeared to him as an angel. Telling him not to give up.

When the kids came again to visit Faith, her condition had gotten worse. Miss Parker asked in a scared voice if she was sleeping.

Faith woke up and said her mommy was right there with them. Miss Parker, Jarod and Angelo saw no one. Faith was still dreaming.

Miss Parker pulled out a rosary from her pocket and gave it to Faith. She explained it was her mom's and now she was giving it to her.

After Miss Parker gave Faith the rosary, Faith passed away. Miss Parker was heartbroken that her only girlfriend had just died.

Faith then appeared to Miss Parker. Miss Parker was in the hospital because she suddenly became ill and was rushed into the ER. Faith told her "I told you I would always watch over you. You can't give up."

Faith then gave Miss Parker the will to live. She told her "Mommy loves you and she wants you to fight." Miss Parker then started breathing on her own again and was going to be okay.

While all that was going on with Miss Parker, Sidney and Broots, two of the people that work in the Centre were looking up information on Faith. They found her file and found out that she was at the Centre for a short time. That was all the information that they could find.

Faith appeared to Jarod one more time before sunlight to tell him not to give up. Faith knew that Sidney and Broots were going to find Jarod at first sunlight.

When Miss Parker recovered, she asked her father who Faith was. Her father explained she was a little girl that her mother saw and fell in love with. They never told Miss Parker about her because Faith was dying when they adopted her. They didn't want to upset Miss Parker.

Miss Parker was upset that they never told her she had adopted sister because she always wanted a sister.
