Brianna and Chalice, identical twins,
shared the role of Isabella for a little less than 2 years. They
started at the age of 18 days and left when Days decided to age the
character a bit.

Isabella Brady-Black
This was the first photo we
saw of the Fischette twins. It was taken for TV Guide the
first day the babies were at work. They were so tiny,
starting work at the tender age of 18 days old. Brianna and
Chalice were the best babies according to Drake Hogestyn.
They always lit up when they saw him and both loved to
listen to him talk even at a very young age.
Introducing Isabella Black,
born October 21, 1993 in the Horton Cabin on Smith
Island.
Marlena held her daughter for
the first time. She had been expecting a boy.
John told Marlena that he felt
very connected to this little girl. He attributed it to
helping with her birth. Of course we knew it was more than
that.
John reached down and Belle
grabbed his finger and held it. He said she was "a strong
little thing."
Marlena and Belle fell asleep
on the couch. John thought they looked very peaceful, but
then he realized that the baby wasn't breathing.
John picked up Belle and
started CPR. Then Marlena woke up and anxiously watched. She
started breathing again and John said, "You cry little
girl." It was the greatest sound in the world to hear her
cry again. Belle reached up for John as if to say she was
OK.
Rescuers finally arrived at
the cabin to take Marlena and Belle to the hosptial. Marlena
said, "Oh, sweetheart, here we go" as they were wheeled out
of the cabin.
Roman saw his "daughter" for
the first time when she arrived at University Hospital with
mom, Marlena.

know it.
John wants to hold the baby in
the hospital.

Roman was so excited about the
new baby. Sami tried to keep the truth from Roman, that
Belle was John's child, not Roman's. She was plotting to
keep her secret as soon as the baby was home. She watched
her sleep, but was plotting to keep her father
happy.
At Roman and Marlena's house,
Sami listens to John say that Belle reminds him a lot of
Brady with her expressions. She's in a foul mood when Roman

Roman and Marlena bring their
new daughter home. They were the perfect family, so they
thought.
At the hospital, Tony sees
Belle for the first time and says she's almost as gorgeous

Belle had to have bloodtests
when she was just a few months old because she was sick.
Roman told her she was very brave. It was her mother who had
cried.
John went to see Marlena at
the house. John tells her, "I just feel so close to this
little one." John gives Belle another gift.

Isabella and her half-sister
Samantha {Alison Sweeney}. Samantha kidnapped Isabella
because she didn't want her mother and father to figure out
that she was the daughter of John Black, not Sami's father,
Roman.
Sami and Belle stayed in
Jamie's basement. Sami slept on the couch while Belle slept
in a little basket.
Belle had no idea what was in
store for her. She watched her big sister
closely.
Sami spoke on the phone to the
shady lawyer who was arranging the adoption. Belle slept the
whole time, but must have been having a good dream. She
smiled as she slept.
Belle slept through most of
the kidnapping ordeal.
After the lawyer told Sami
that the couple adopting the baby was from Salem, she
decided she couldn't give Belle up. She took Belle to the
airport and bought a ticket to Miami, where she planned to
go and raise Belle on her own.
John and Kristen stopped Sami
from selling her little sister on the black
market.
Roman and Marlena reunited
with their daughter. It was a short, but happy
reunion.
The family returned home for
Christmas. Unfortunately, their happiness was destroyed when
Roman and Marlena discovered that Sami had kidnapped
Belle.
Belle was getting ready for
the big event, her baptism. Her godparents are Lexie and
John. The baptism was never completed.

Belle seemed to enjoy her
ceremony. She kept smiling at the priest, as he talked about
her family and how to raise her to be a good Catholic.
Belle was still very happy,
but she was soon whisked away by Caroline.
Marlena saw Stefano walk into
the back of the church. She knew he was ready to tell
everyone about the affair. Marlena knew she had to tell it
herself. She told the priest to stop and she told Roman she
needed to talk to him. {pics

After the incident at the
church, Stefano came over to the Brady house with some
additional news. Roman just wanted him to leave.
Stefano told Roman he had
proof (Sami's diary) that Belle's father was John. Belle
looked right up at Stefano, as if she was in shock too.
No matter whose daughter she
is, she's adorable. Just look at that smile. Belle didn't
know that she was smiling at the most evil man in
Salem.
After Roman and Marlena broke
up, Roman kept Belle when Marlena moved out. They didn't yet
know that Belle was John's daughter. Sami was watching her
little sister. Belle was crying one day when Roman got home,
so he took Belle in his arms and asked her if she missed her
Daddy. She stopped crying and just looked at him. To Roman,
Belle was his daughter.
