Belle and Marlena went over to
Roman's to get the rest of their things. Marlena thought
Roman would be at work, but he wasn't he was at home
packing. Roman was getting ready to leave town.
Marlena told Roman that her
and Belle were going to get a place of their own. Roman
wasn't too sure about all that. But he didn't say much to
Marlena.
Roman couldn't believe all the
stuff they had collected in such a short time. (Referring to
all the stuff for the baby.) Marlena then interrupted his
packing of the baby's things because he was folding them
wrong. She asked Roman to hold Belle while she packed.
Roman held Belle for the last
time, as Marlena packed her clothes and toys.
Marlena saw the hurt in
Roman's eyes and asked him if he could just send the rest of
Belle's things. He said that would be fine. As soon as she
knew where she was going to be, he would send them.
Marlena and Belle walked up to
the Horton Center at the same time as John. John was coming
back from looking for Stefano. He had disappeared after he
told Roman that Belle was not his daughter.
John then asked Marlena where
she and Belle had gone. Marlena said they went home to get
the rest of Belle's things. They also saw Roman, since he
wasn't at work.
John asked how Roman was
doing. Marlena said the anger was gone somewhat. John said
that was good "Maybe now you two can work things out." What
Marlena didn't know was that when she left, Roman started to
pack his own things. He was getting ready to leave town.
Marlena came down the stairs
with Belle, who had been napping. John asked her if her nap
was done so he could take her crib out to the car. Marlena
was making excuses not to go just yet. She said, "you can
wait and help me give her a bath."
John asked if he could give
her a bath. Marlena said sure, but don't get the water too
hot and she likes... John stopped her. He said "Brady will
atest to my bathing skills. But this will be the first time
I have ever bathed my daughter."
John swung Belle around and
held her in the air and said "Daddy, loves you sweet girl."
Marlena and John didn't see Roman walk in.
John then pulled Belle in and
Belle smiled at him. John was so excited because Belle
smiled at him. Roman was watching from the doorway. He was
about to walk out when the mobile he was carrying made a
noise and they noticed him.
Roman wanted to give Marlena
the mobile since she forgot it. He also wanted to know where
they were moving to so he could send Belle's things. Marlena
didn't really know where she was going since John made all
the plans. John said he would get the directions to Roman.
Roman went on to tell Marlena to remember that if she
couldn't get Belle to go to sleep at night that she liked to
be hummed to.
Isabella and John were bonding
here. John had just given her a bath, for the first time as
her father.
After John brushed Belle's
hair, she decided to chew on the brush a bit.
John held Belle while Marlena
was looking out the window of the Horton Center. Her old
house with Roman was right across the way. She wanted so
much to be back with her family. John told her that some day
she would be back with her family.
Marlena was absolutely stunned
when John took her and Belle to the Penthouse. After living
in the Horton house for a few weeks, she was happy to have a
home of her own. John had already furnished the place and
had a security system installed.
Belle and Marlena at the
Penthouse. It looks like Belle is ready for her first nap in
her new home.
After finally closing her eyes
in one scene, Belle was wide awake in the next. (Looks like
a change in babies to us.)
Not only did John buy the
Penthouse for Marlena and Belle, he also hired Ivy, a baby
nurse, to take care of Belle when Marlena went to work.
Chelsea later replaced Ivy as Belle's nanny.
Roman came over to see Marlena
and had his first encounter with Belle in her new home.
Marlena said Belle needed a
bottle. Roman said he'd go get it, but Marlena said it would
be easier if he held Belle while she went to get it.
Roman was reluctant to hold
Belle since she wasn't his, but he settled in with her
pretty quickly.
Roman told Belle, "I'll still
love you." She touched him on the face, making contact with
her former daddy.
Roman asked, "Do you remember
me Belle?" Marlena returned and said that of course she did,
that Belle still loved him.
Marlena and Roman started
talking about their divorce plans. Marlena still wanted to
work things out, but Roman was set on filing for divorce.
Belle didn't have any idea what was going on.
Belle liked watching her mom.
She gave her a big smile.
Roman turned Belle around and
she started fussing. She had been happy watching Marlena,
but now couldn't see her as well.
The phone rang, but Marlena
didn't want to answer it. She wanted to work things out with
Roman. The machine came on and it was John. He said he was
coming right over. Roman said, "I'm the intruder here." He
knew he needed to leave. Marlena tried to convince him that
he wasn't, but he wasn't going to stay. She and Belle ran
after him. She was desperately trying to put her family back
together.
