Carrie and Austin volunteered
to babysit for Belle when Marlena and Roman had a date. They
were dressed up too, planning to have a special evening
after Belle went to bed.
Carrie loved watching Austin
interact with Belle. She knew that he would make a great
father someday.
Belle carefully watches her
"Grandpa" Shawn as he and Caroline talk about Roman and
Marlena. Shawn and Caroline consider Belle to be their
grandchild, even though they aren't blood related.
Brianna and Chalice
Fischette played Belle for a little over a
year.
Chalice and Brianna came
strolling in to the studio in style ready to take pictures
for the special edition of Soap Opera Magazine that featured
all the DAYS kids.
Brianna and Chalice are
pictured here with their real mother and father. Their mom
took them to the set every day and stayed with
them.
Marlena put Belle in her
stroller so they could head to the babysitter's. Marlena
told Belle she would look for her bear while Belle bit Big
Bird's head off. She was really chewing on him.
John came to see his two
favorite ladies. He told Belle that he wanted the world to
be a safe place for her. She studied his face, but didn't
stop chewing.
John said Belle was a very
pretty baby. Belle was busy watching her mom.
They started hearing
hammering. John, Marlena and Belle all looked around. John
covered Belle's ears so the noise wouldn't bother her. Of
course the remodeling next door was Stefano's creation and
the beginning of the possession story.
Belle at Salem Park with
Marlena, Brady, Mike and Caroline. This was just before
Marlena became gravely ill.
Kristen ran into Marlena and
John at Salem Place. She asked Belle if she was ready for
Christmas. Marlena said she thought Belle would be old
enough this year to enjoy it.
As John and Gina were talking,
Belle was looking at the doll with all the hair. The doll
looked just like Belle, curly hair and all.
Belle and Hope talking with
John, Christmas morning 1994.
Belle looks really interested
in what Brady and John are doing on the floor. They were
playing cars.
Belle and Hope the day after
Christmas, 1994. John hired Hope, who was still known as
Gina, to be Belle and Brady's nanny late in that year, since
Marlena wasn't able to care for the kids, due to her illness
(possession).
John was delighted to spend
his first Christmas with his daughter.
Belle and John calling Marlena
on Christmas morning. Marlena was too ill to spend Christmas
with Belle, so John was going to call her and see how she
was. She didn't answer the phone. She was busy being
possessed.
The Fischettes seemed to
listen each time Drake would speak. They must like his
voice. When someone else talks, they look the other
way.
Marlena was possessed and in
the hospital. She kept having dreams about returning to
Belle and John and being a family.
Chalice and Brianna just
stared at Drake as he spoke to Marlena, every once in a
while they would look at Deidre, but they watched Drake most
of the time.
One of Marlena's dreams. John,
Marlena and Belle were all in the park. Belle was giving her
mom some flowers.
After Belle gave Marlena her
flowers, Belle asked her mom she wanted to have a beer and
hot dog. Of course John was playing around and he was the
one talking for Belle. Marlena got a big kick out of
this.
Caroline and Carrie joined in
on the picnic. When John turned around to tell Carrie and
Caroline "Hi," Belle just seemed to jump right out of his
arms to Carrie. Carrie {Christie} seemed a little surprised
that Belle went to her so easily.
Caroline was taking Belle's
picture with her mother and father when Marlena had a better
idea and wanted to take a picture of John, Caroline and
Carrie with Belle.
Now isn't this a sweet family
picture? Belle with her "Grandma" Caroline, Dad John and her
"sister" Carrie.
This was the last time we saw
the Fischettes as Belle. John took Belle to see Marlena at
the hospital. It was just before the end of the possession
storyline. When John handed Belle over to her mom, she just
cried. Marlena was under the possession of the Devil.
Brianna/Chalice was not crying
in this scene. The crying was dubbed in. This episode marked
Brianna and Chalice's 61st appearance as Isabella
Black.
Where are they
Now?
December 2002: The
girls turned 9 in September. They are still very active in
the performing arts. They've been dancing for over 6 years
and have been in over 12 live stage productions. Recently
they were featured in the "Live from the Grove, Holiday
Special", which aired locally on the WB network on
Thanksgiving weekend. That being said, the girls are very
happy and healthy and are enjoying a normal life. They are
in the fourth grade, attend a cool church and sing in the
kids' choir. They are both interested in singing and acting.

August 2005: The girls
appeared in the voice cast of Lilo And Stitch 2: Stitch
Has A Glitch, which was released August 30, 2005. Both
girls sang in the song "Always" as part of the Children's
Chorus in the Disney animated film.
