Max and Sam Christy

Max appeared on the cover of Soap Opera Weekly on May 8, 2001. The photo shoot was done on April 12, following the Christy's first day of shooting at Days. {Photos by Jeff Katz}

Max also appeared on a photo inside the magazine with onscreen parents Abe {James Reynolds} and Lexie {Renee Jones}. Sam was not at the photo shoot at all that day. {Photo by Jeff Katz}

The Christy's first episode was an important one. Isaac {Max on left and right, Sam on far right} was shown in every segment, as he was at the hospital for his DNA test. {4/30/01}

Lexie panicked when she saw Glen and Barb. She took Isaac into the stairwell. Brandon found them there a few minutes later. Max had a rattle and was making it fly all over the place. First it was up, then down. {4/30/01}

He pulled it in front of him and took a look at Matt {Brandon}. Then he turned back around and put the rattle right up in Renee's face as she was trying to say her lines. Max had a lot more energy than his tired brother. {4/30/01}

Isaac {Max} listened carefully as Brandon told Lexie that even if Glen was proved to be Isaac's father, they would never let him take the boy away from her. {4/30/01}

Lexie said she was about to faint, so Brandon took Isaac {Max} from her and she went to sit on the stairs. He promised her that the DNA switch would be smooth. {4/30/01}

Hope appeared as Lexie and Brandon were talking about the switch. Hope asked, "what switch?" Hope and Lexie easily covered, saying Brandon was trying to switch shifts to get off for the weekend. Sam as Isaac. {4/30/01}

Lexie didn't want to go with Isaac as he had the DNA test. She thought she'd upset him. So, the lab technician took him in. {4/30/01}

When Isaac {Max} returned, Brandon took him and he had a bottle. It seemed he had already finished the bottle. He was just holding it and was once again looking at the boom mike. {4/30/01}

It was clearly the boys' first day on the set. There was so much for them to check out. In nearly every scene, their eyes were somewhere in the distance or over their heads. {4/30/01}

Isaac watched J.T. and Hope leave. Lexie sent them off to sign papers to allow J.T. to leave. It was really because Lexie and Brandon needed to talk again. Brandon was headed off to make the switch. When he returned, he told Lexie it was done and the three of them hugged. Max as Isaac {4/30/01}
