

Hope, Bo and Shawn-D all went to the mountains in Aremid to get away from everything that was going on. Shawn-D told his mom that he and his dad had some "men's work to do." Shawn-D wanted to talk to his dad alone.


Hope asked Shawn-D and Bo what she was supposed to do while they were doing their "men's work." Shawn-D told his mom to just take it easy, they would be back soon.


Shawn-D started talking to his dad. He asked if he liked mom. Bo said yes, so Shawn-D asked, "Do you love mom?" Bo said he would always love Hope.


After Shawn-D heard his dad say he would always love Hope, he told his dad to tell Hope that he loved her. Bo agreed that he would as soon as they got back to the cabin.


When Bo and Shawn-D got back to the cabin, Hope had left to go skiing. She and Bo were going to have a race the next day and Hope wanted to practice.

When Shawn-D left the mountain top and went back to the cabin with Abe and Lexie, they decided to say a prayer for Hope and her safe return. |
| Bo almost froze to death after looking for Hope in the mountains all night. Bo was ready to go out searching again, but John and Mike tried to talk him out of it. Bo said "I don't care if I die, I can't live without Hope again." What Bo didn't know was that Shawn-D was standing in the doorway as he said this. | ![]() |

Shawn-D yelled out "I can't lose you too. You're all I have left." Bo sat Shawn-D down and tried to explain that he wasn't going to die, he was just going to search for Hope. | ![]() |

Shawn-D told his dad to let the rescue people look for Hope. Bo said he couldn't do that because he promised himself he would never lose Hope again. He couldn't go without searching. | ![]() |

Shawn-D didn't understand, but he agreed to go back to Aremid with his grandparents and wait for his dad to come home with his mom. Bo promised he would bring Hope home. |
| Bo returned from the mountain top without Hope a few days later. Shawn-D went into Bo's room and told him how much he missed his mom. The four years without her, then her returning just to lose her again was too much for Shawn-D to handle. | ![]() |

Bo decided to take Shawn-D camping to help take his mind off losing his mom and to think about the great times that they spent together. |
| After they got to the camping spot, the same one that they were at just a few weeks before as a family, Shawn-D got upset thinking about his mom. The pain of losing her was too fresh in his memory. | ![]() |

Bo sat down with Shawn-D and tried to explain that it was ok to cry and it was ok to talk about his mom. Shawn-D agreed that it helped to talk about his mom. | ![]() |

Bo brought and wreath for them to lay down as a memorial for Hope. They both said a prayer for her. | ![]() |

Shawn-D and Bo then saw a dove that was hurt. Bo picked it up and took the string off of its legs. It flew away and landed right on Hope's wreath. | ![]() |
| Bo and Shawn-D both took this as a sign that Hope might still be alive. Bo wanted to go out searching again. | ![]() |

When Bo came back from searching for Hope the following day, Laura Horton told him that Shawn-D was upset and not talking to anyone. | ![]() |

Shawn-D had overheard some men talking in the pub about a women who froze to death on the mountain, a lady from Salem. Shawn-D was so upset to find out his mom died all alone. | ![]() |

Bo tried to convince Shawn-D that Hope didn't die alone, that she didn't freeze to death. Shawn-D wasn't buying it and wanted to go home to Salem. Bo agreed it was time to go home. |
| Shawn-D and Bo were leaving the pub when they both saw the dove again. It was the same one that was on the wreath. Bo knew he had to come back and look for Hope. | ![]() |

When they got back home to the boat, Shawn-D told his dad he wrote a prayer for his mom. He wanted to read it to his dad. |

When Shawn-D got done reading the prayer, both Bo and Shawn-D had tears in their eyes. | ![]() |

Bo promised himself he wasn't going to allow his son to be hurt like this. He knew Hope was alive in his heart, he was going to go back to Aremid to search for her. | ![]() |

Shawn-D had no idea his mom was alive when he headed to his dad's room. He was surprised to see his mom opening the door. | ![]() |

Hope and Shawn-D were both excited to see each other again. Bo looked over at them and said "You two belong together." | ![]() |

Shawn-D said, "We are a family again." Bo answered "Yeah sailor man we are a family again." | ![]() |

Hope told Shawn-D "Aunt Maggie has breakfast down stairs. Our hero needs his rest." Bo tried to say he was ok, but he passed out from the pain as soon as Shawn-D was gone. |
| Shawn-D had breakfast with his mom and dad the next morning when his dad was feeling better. Bo was shot while fighting with Jude St. Clair, Hope's kidnapper. | ![]() |

Shawn-D and Bo thought it was funny to steal Hope's bacon. They told her to look at the spider on the wall. When she turned they both took her bacon. | ![]() |
