Darian took over the role of Will in August 2002 when the character was aged slightly, after spending the summer in Africa, with his father. Darian's prior acting experience is mainly in small independent movies and short subjects.

Darian's largest film role was in Timmy's Wish, where he played the title character. The film was directed by and co-starred Patrick Cannon. It was a 10 minute film from the Teeny Monkey Film company. After he's sent to his room for refusing to eat his vegetables, angry little Timmy prays to heaven to deliver him from his cruel parents. Much to his surprise, his prayers are answered-- bigtime. Now it's up to Timmy to clean up the mess. {photo courtesy Detroit News}

In 2000, Darian appeared as Benjamin Erskine in the independent film, Return to Innocence, by Lifeline Entertainment. He has also won 3 gold medals in national figure skating championships. Days marks his first TV role. {photo on left courtesy starmania.com, photo on right courtesy Boys on Your Screen}

Will ran into the hospital and gave Sami a big hug. Sami was so happy to see her little boy, who was back from Africa. Sami had spent the whole summer away from her son. This was Darian's first scene on DAYS. Just from the first show we can tell this kid is going to be a scene stealer. He puts all his effort into his acting. {09/02/02}

Will was ready to tell Sami about all the fun he had in Africa with his father, Lucas and grandfather, Bill. {09/02/02}

Will chimed in, saying that he stayed up late and had no bedtime anymore. Sami asked "Why?" In a smart voice Will said, "It's not like I had school the next day." {09/02/02}

Billie walked over to greet Lucas and Will. Will told his Aunt "hi." Then he asked his father if he could have a pop, hamburger and fries. Lucas said sure, but he needed to wait a minute. Will said, "But I am hungry now." {09/02/02}

Sami disagreed with Lucas over the food, since it was so late and tomorrow was Will's first day of school. Will was a real brat with his mom, saying "I have NO bedtime, remember?" {09/02/02}

Darian knows how to use his eyes and facial expressions very well. Will rolled his eyes and made lots of smart remarks, being very disrepectful to his mother. {09/02/02}

Lucas said, "Come on Sami, he has to eat." Will chimmed in with, "Yeah, come on Sami." Sami was in shock over Will calling her Sami and not "Mommy," {09/02/02}

Darian made lots of facial expressions as he spoke with Sami. Sami requested that he call her "Mommy." Will said, "Mommy, whatever." Sami said, "Not whatever." Will asked, "Why are you making such a big deal out of this?" {09/02/02}

Sami said, "I don't want to fight with you on your first day back." Will said, "Fine, I'm not." He still never called her "Mommy." Then asked when he was going to get to eat. Billie offered to let Sami and Lucas talk while she took Will s to get some food to eat. Sami requested that he eat only fries and a drink, no pop. {09/02/02}
