Darian Weiss

Will came back from eating and showed Sami his airplane that "Lucas" brought him. Sami asked, "You call him Lucas?" He said, "Yeah, just like I call you Sami sometimes." Sami didn't like that at all and told Will he would only call her "Mommy". {09/02/02}

Will said, "Fine, if you don't like it I won't do it." Sami then told him how cool his airplane was. 09/02/02

Sami told Will he could take the plane to school tomorrow and show all of his friends. Will said, "I'm not going to school," as he still played with the airplane, not once looking or acting like he was paying attention to his mom. {09/02/02}

Sami said, "You are going to school tomorrow." Will then yelled out, "Lucas will explain, I am not going to school. NO WAY." Then he threw the airplane to the ground. Now everyone in the hallway was watching Will and Sami. {09/02/02}

Will turned and told Sami, "You can't make me, Lucas said, 'You can't boss me anymore.'" 09/02/02

Sami said, "We can talk about this at home." Will then told her, "I don't want to go home with you, I am going home with Dad." 09/02/02

Brandon came over to try and help Sami out. Will changed his attitude a little. He wanted to go eat again. Sami said, "You just ate." Will said, "I didn't get dessert. I'm still hungry." With Sami's ok, Brandon sent Will with one of the nurses to have ice cream, his treat. 09/02/02

Will came back with Grandma Kate. Kate said, "Look who I found." Sami was upset to see Will with his Grandma. The subject of school came up again and Will said, "Dad, explain to mom I'm not going to school." 09/02/02

Lucas said, "He has jetlag, he has to rest." Sami said, "Then let me take him home and put him to bed. 09/02/02

Will said he wanted to go home with his dad. Lucas said, "It's up to your mom." Sami agreed to let him go home with Lucas and Kate. 09/02/02

As they were leaving Brandon gave Will his plane that was broken. Kate asked what happened to it. Will said, "I took it to show my mom and..." 09/02/02

Kate finished with "And she broke it." Will didn't agree or disagree. He just said he was sorry. 09/02/02

Kate said, "That's ok, we will take you to the Toy Store tomorrow and buy you what ever you want." Lucas chimmed in with "That one was small, we will get a bigger and better one tomorrow." Will said with a big smile, "Way to go Grandma." 09/02/02

This new TV family bonded very quickly behind the scenes. Bryan says of Darian, "He's a good actor and a cook kid. All it took was one afternoon with him and we were homeboys. We sat down and talked about what video games and toys he wants. I wanted to let him know that I was a friend as opposed to just a co-worker because it's a lot easier to work with friends." Darian has picked up a saying from his onscreen mom, Ali Sweeney. When asked a question he doesn't want to answer, he puts up his hand and says, "Talk to the hand, not to the face," just like his onscreen mom. He likes to imitate both "parents," saying things like, "how random," "whatever" and "oh my God!" {pic and info from SOW}

Darian and Bryan joined other Days castmembers at an LA Dodgers game to support costar Kyle Lowder when he sang the National Anthem. When Bryan tried to teacher Darian about the Dodgers, Darian made sure to let him know that he was up on all of the Dodgers' stats and players.
