Erik had a key voice role in the 1995 film Toy Story. He did the voice of Sid, who lived next door to Andy and his toys. Sid was the villain of the film, trying to destroy everything in sight.

An early headshot of Erik's, which was always sent out with his resume attached.

Erik appeared on ER in 1995 in the award winning episode, "Hell and High Water." In these scenes, Erik's character was trapped behind a gate, with water rushing up behind him. Doug {George Clooney} was trying to keep him calm while he figured out how to open the gate.

Doug finally got Ben {Erik} unstuck, but he had lost consciousness. Doug carried him to the side of the river bank, where he started CPR. He couldn't get Ben's airway open so he asked a bystanding cop if he had a pen. Doug cut Ben's throat to make a airway and inserted the pen case to hold it open. Once he got him breathing, he carried him to the waiting ambulance.

When he heard the ambulance driver say they were taking him to a hospital with out a trauma center, Doug turned and asked the news reporter to ask the pilot for the ETA for Cook County Hospital, where Doug works in the ER. Doug figured it wouldn't hurt to fly him there, since either way he might die. He knew he had a better chance at County.

It took everything Doug had to keep Ben alive. He was getting worse by the minute. When they got to County he wasn't breathing on his own.

Ben's rescue ended up on the news immediately and Doug became a hero as he brought Ben into the ER. Doug had done lots of questionable things to save Ben, but because Ben lived, Doug was not sued for using a news chopper as a flight for life.

Erik appeared as Billy Jackson in Christmas Every Day during the 1996 holiday season. Billy re-lived Christmas day over and over again, much like Bill Murray's character in the film Groundhog Day. {photo on right courtesy tigerbeat.com}

Good thing Billy learned from his mistakes. He finally stopped getting beaten up.

In 1996, Erik starred in yet another TV movie. This one, Stranger to Love, starred Beau Bridges and Pam Dawber. Alan (Beau Bridges) lost his memory. He has two sons and a wife, but he doesn't know it. He ends up in a restautant and he begs the owner to give him a job. The owner is Justin's (Erik) mother.

Justin and his little brother, Danny (Michael Scruggs) came into the kitchen and Justin asked Alan to make him a sandwich. He didn't say please and it sounded like an order to Alan, so he said he wouldn't do it. Justin told him that his mom owned the restaurant and he could get him fired. Alan convinced him to ask politely.

Jimmy the chef in the restaurant quit his job, so Alan took over. Justin and Danny were his helpers. Alan gave the kids tips in cooking.

Day to day their mom became closer to Alan and the kids, who didn't have a father figure at home, got attached to Alan. Eventually, his real life family found him and after bringing up memories and showing him pictures of his kids he remembered it all and he had to leave Justin and his family. Justin and his brother cried but Alan said they could call him and he promised to stay in touch.

Erik performed more voice roles for Disney in the 1997 movie, Hercules.

Erik and the cast of Leave it to Beaver. . This was supposed to be a huge hit, but it bombed within the first week on the big screen. Christopher McDonald played Ward Cleaver and Janine Turner was June

Erik and his co-star, Erika Christensen, who played Karen in Leave it to Beaver.

When Erik appeared in a magazine at age 14, he was still labeled as a newcomer. He didn't keep that label for long. He's now very well known.

Erik appeared on the TV show, Meego in 1997. He was originally cast in the pilot as Trip Parker, but the role was recast before the show went into production. His costar was Bronson Pinchot, who played his alien nanny.

Erik, whose nickname is "The Bear" is quite a teen heartthrob these days. He can be found in almost any "Teen Magazine", such as "The Big Bopper", "The Bop", "Teen Beat", "16", "All Stars" and many more.

Just a few more pics to show how handsome Erik has gotten. He has really grown up since being on DAYS. Can you see this young man throwing a fit, like his character, Nikki often did?
