Erik starred in a Disney
channel movie called "Brink." These pictures are just a
couple of the promo pics. Erik played Brink, the main
character. Erik stars in a lot of Disney movies. Disney
makes contracts with kids that they really like and want to
keep for future movies. Erik, along with Jonathan Taylor
Thomas and The Lawrence Brothers, Joey, Matthew and Andrew
are all under Disney contracts. Erik has a great future with
Disney.
The "So Weird" cast: Erik
vonDetten plays Clu, Mackenzie Phillips is Molly, Cara
DeLizia plays Fi and Patrick Levis plays Jack.

Erik von Detten stars in a new
Disney TV series called So Weird. Erik plays
"Clu."
Let us tell you a little about
the show, who everyone is and how they fit together. Clu
{Erik} is one of the main characters. "Fiona" is the main
character, played by Cara DeLizia. She is the daughter of a
wanna-be rock star, "Molly" played by Mackenzie Phillips.
"Jack" is Fiona's brother, played by Patrick Levis. Clu is
the son of the manager of the band, Irene, played by Belinda
Metz. His dad, Ned, is the head roadie and bus
driver/teacher and is played by Dave "Squatch" Ward. They
all live on the tour bus and have been touring for about a
year. Jack and Fiona's dad died when they were very young.
The show opened with Jack
teasing his little sister Fiona. Clu {Erik} came in and said
"I told him you would be mad." Jack had played with Fiona's
computer. Fiona, or as everyone calls her "Fi," is a
computer nut. She has a webpage all about aliens, hauntings
and anything else out of the ordinary. Fi has been on a
mission to find out what happens in the afterlife, ever
since her father died.
After Molly {Mackenzie} came
in and broke up the fight between her kids she asked Clu
{Erik} to ask his parents what time they would get to
Chicago. That was where the band was playing next.
In Chicago, Clu and Jack were
ready to tour the city. But Clue's mom {Belinda} stopped him
first. Clue was wearing her sunglasses and she asked why. He
said they looked better on him.
Clu then looked at his dad and
said "Right, Dad?" His dad said "Right, it's the shape of
his face." Irene {Belinda} then grabbed Ned {Dave} and
pulled him inside. She couldn't believe he took their son's
side about the glasses.
Clu talked with Fi about "bug
duty." It was Fi's turn for bug duty. Each one of the kids
take turns cleaning the bugs off the bus windshield. Fi was
tring to get out of it.
School time!! Clu, Jack and Fi
all get weekly lessons from Clue's dad. Here he was telling
them he wanted an 8 to 10 page history paper about Chicago.
Clu made the smart remark "Who would get to page 8 and keep
on writing?" His dad didn't think it was too funny.
As Clu's dad began talking
about the history of Chicago, Clue looked at his dad and
said "Dad, do you feel ok? You look tired." Clu was trying
to get out of doing class work.
Jack and Fi caught on to what
Clu was up to and started in on Ned too. They told him he
works so hard, grading papers and making lesson plans, not
to mention being head roadie. Then Clu came in with "Dad,
you're not Superman. You can't do it all."
They thought they had Ned
fooled. Ned started talking about taking a week off and what
he was going to do. Then he burst their little bubbles and
said "I can top it all off with grading your history papers.
Class dismissed."
Clu was standing at the fridge
looking for something to eat, when he grabbed a frozen
burrito. Jack reminded him that they didn't have a
microwave. Clu said "I don't mind. I like them frozen." He
then took a big bite.
Clu was eating the frozen
burrito when Fi came in and told them she had just seen the
ghost boy in a picture. Earlier in the day Fi said she saw a
ghost. It was a young boy who had drowned. Clue got on his
raincoat, got the flashlights and said "let's go."
Jack wasn't sure about going
on this mission to get a ghost. He was a little scared. Clu
was gung ho and said "I hope we see a ghost."
Fi was a little ahead of the
guys when she saw the ghost. She then saw through a wall and
knew that was the room where the boy wanted her to go. Jack
and Clu were looking around and saw nothing.
They were all looking around a
dark room. Fi said it was the room the little boy (the
ghost) was trying to get her to go in. Jack saw a rat on the
floor and said "Check Please!!" meaning he wanted to leave.
Jack left and went back down
through the floor board where they came into the room. As he
went down the ghost started moving things around. He made a
big box cover the hole that Jack was going in. Clu was
trying to move the box but he couldn't.
Clu then saw the table coming
after him. He jumped out of the way and then fell on the
floor where all kinds of stuff fell on him. He was yelling
for help, but Fi was too busy watching the ghost that only
she could see.
After all the commotion, Fi
was standing on a loose floor board and she fell threw. Jack
and Clu kept Fi from falling. Then they all looked down and
saw Molly, Ned and Irene looking at them. Fi said "Hi mom,
have a good show?"
