In the fall of 1999, Erik
appeared in the ABC comedy Odd Man Out as Andrew. The
teen is living any man's dream. He's the only male in a
house he shares with five beautiful women. Unfortunately for
Andrew, the fact that these women are his mom, his aunt and
his three sisters make this a 14-year-old boy's nightmare.
The sitcom also stars Natalia Cigliuti, Jessica Capshaw,
Trevor Fehrman, Lynsey Bartilson {Vicki Davis not pictured},
Marina Malota and Markie Post ("Night Court").

are worrying about passing their driver's test, Erik von
Detten is fast on the track to film and television stardom.
He is best known for his starring role as Wally in the
feature film comedy, "Leave It to Beaver," and also stars on
the Disney Channel series, "So Weird." Erik began his career
on daytime television, starring as Nicholas Alamain on "Days
of Our Lives." He has guest starred in numerous series,
including "ER," "7th Heaven" and "Touched By an
Angel."
He earned a Hollywood Reporter
Young Star Award nomination for his appearance in the movie,

Erik has tried twice to make
it on a TV sitcom. Both times he has failed. Odd Man
Out didn't even get to finish it's first season. His
stint on Meego only lasted for the pilot episode.
So Weird was a huge success for Erik, but he gave it
up to try out ABC and Odd Man Out.
In late 1999, Erik was voted
one of Bop's "20 Hottest Men." Here he is in some pics from
the teen magazine.

is the first time Erik has had his hair cut short since he
was about 11. He looks very cute and lot more grown-up.
