Ashaneese and Nasharin Holderness

Ashaneese and Nasharin Holderness took over the role from Shaquille Toney. They played Ben for almost two years. They left in November 1995.

This was the first time we saw one of the Holderness twins as Ben. When Ben and Wendy went to Salem Place, Ben was played by Shaquille, but by the end of the evening, the Holderness twins had taken over.

Everyone watched the lighting of the tree in Salem Place. After a long delay, the tree was finally lighted. Wendy said, "Look, it's lighted."

Ben was the main attraction. Everyone wanted to say Hello to him. Austin was asking him about the presents he'd be getting from Santa.

Ben suddenly started choking. Jonah grabbed him and cleared out his mouth. He was OK. Wendy was very relieved and thanked Jonah.

Maggie was watching Ben for a while on Christmas Eve, so that Jonah and Wendy could talk.

When Jonah and Wendy got done talking, they met Maggie and Alice at the hospital where they told everyone they were going to be a family.

Jonah dressed up as Santa for Ben. Then they went the Brady's to wish them a Merry Christmas.

Carrie and Austin were sharing a romantic moment and there was a knock on the door. It was Jonah with Benjamin. Jonah was babysitting and Wendy's apartment was being painted, so they couldn't be there. He was very sorry that he'd interrupted.

Austin asked Ben what was up and what he was doing.

They went to sit on the couch and Jonah asked Ben if he was behaving. Ben said "Yep!" Then he held up his doll to show Austin and said, "That's my doll." Austin and Thyme just smiled.

Jonah and Austin were talking about Carrie. Ben was looking over off stage at something.

Jonah thought Austin and Carrie seemed pretty happy. Austin was worried about Sami interfering. Ben was busy looking down at something that caught his attention.

After Jonah and Austin talked for a while, their attention was drawn back to Ben again. He held up his doll again and said "That's my doll." This time, Austin and Thyme laughed out loud. They were clearly being upstaged.

Wendy and Ben walked into the police station with Jonah. Ben saw Abe and put his hand out to shake it. He was a big boy now.

Jonah, Ben and Wendy went to pick up Abe and Lexie for the 1995 picnic that was being thrown by Titan.

Jonah, Wendy and Ben made one of Salem's cutest families. To bad DAYS didn't show more of them.

Ben at the picnic with Abe and Lexie. Jonah and Lexie had to return to the hospital to do some overtime work. Ben stayed there with his "Uncle" Abe and Mom Wendy.

Abe had a great time with Ben, carrying him everywhere. Ben was busy eating his banana. It must have been pretty good, because he never put it down.

Ashaneese and Nasharin are not identical twins, as you can tell in most of the pics. When they first started, they were about two and looked pretty similar, but as they got older they were pretty easy to tell apart.

This was the last time we saw a Holderness twin as Ben. This was right after Will was born. Jonah and Ben were playing puppy, so Jonah was pretending to bark like the puppy. This episode marked Ashaneese and Nasharin's 8th appearence as Benjamin Abraham Carver Reardon.
