Lexie and Hope had lunch at the pub and Lisa {Lisa Williams} was on baby duty. Instead of waiting tables she was cuddling cute little JT {Joshua}, while Isaac {Sam/Max} was playing in the playpen.

Lexie, Isaac, JT and Hope all ran into each other at Salem Place. Hope was commenting on how big Isaac was and how JT was gaining on him in size now. Lexie agreed and then Hope went on to say how well JT was doing, since the kidnapping. She was so worried because he was with people who had no idea he was ill.

Lexie got a concerned look on her face as Hope went on talking about someone else taking care of her son. Lexie was so worried that Hope was going to find out that Isaac was her biological son and take him away from her.

Hope then caught herself talking about Glenn and Barb the people that tried to take Isaac. She was so sorry that she brought them up and then asked Lexie "Is everything ok? You always seem to be worried that someone is going to take Isaac away."

Lexie said she was still concerned because she knows that Isaac's biological father is still out there somewhere and he could come and claim Isaac anyday now. Hope reassured Lexie that she was a great mother and that no one was going to come and take her son away.

Jacob (JT) was busy eating some little crackers. He wasn't paying any attention to Renee (Lexie) and Kristian (Hope) talking. He wasn't even looking at Max/Sam until he got upset about not being able to find the string that he was playing with.

Max/Sam was playing with Renee's shirt string, pulling it up and then letting go, he got upset when she moved him from one side to the other. It took him a minute to find the string again.

Max/Sam was happy playing with the string. He kept looking over at Kristian and Jacob.

Lexie pulled Isaac in for a hug and then he said "Mama" for the first time. Hope said "See, even Isaac knows who his mommy is." Hope and Lexie got so excited that they scared Isaac. He turned really quick to look over at Hope.

Then Lexie made Hope promise that no matter what happened, she wouldn't let anyone take her child away. Hope said "Ok, I won't let anyone take your child." Hope had no idea why Lexie wanted her to promise that.

Lexie and Hope put the boys back in their strollers, then they went and sat down to talk some more.

The Rips and Grays

Bo, Hope, J.T. {Joshua Rips}, Isaac {Garrett Gray} and Lexie all had lunch together at The Pub. This marked the first scene with The Grays and The Rips together in a scene.

Jacob Rips and Garrett Gray did a photo shoot for Soap Opera Digest in early 2001. This marked the first time both boys had been on a cover together. Jacob Rips has been on several soap magazine covers before.
