FAQ

How is Abigail a Deveraux by name only?

Answer: Abby's father Jack is adopted. His real name is William Earl Johnson. That makes Abby a Deveraux by law and name, but not by blood.

The character of Jack was played by a doll for more than a month. Due to the nature of the storyline, using a real baby just wasn't practical. So, Days spent a significant amount of money on a realistic doll who would be in the role of Jack Patrick until Jennifer returned to Salem with the baby and a real infant could take over.
