Isabella and Brady came home to find the place dark. John was waiting with a fancy dinner for them.

John wanted to hold his boy. He'd missed him all day.

John and Isabella enjoyed lunch at the Sand Dollar on the riverfront. John had a meeting with people regarding Ecosystems, which he had recently inherited from the Alamains. Brady {Max} just laid in his mom's arms and got excited when she'd give him attention.

While John was gone, Brady and Isabella walked around a bit. She put him up on her shoulder and felt a pain in her back. She decided to sit down and rest.

John returned from his meeting and picked Brady up and told him that "Broderick" liked him. Then he put Brady into his stroller and adjusted the pillow under his head.

Brady was very happy to see dad again. He gave him a smile, then put his hand in his mouth.

The hand didn't stop Brady from smiling. He was still giving dad a big grin.

John, Isabella and Brady {Max} went to lunch at Alice's. Alice was excited to see Brady. She said that they'd recently become friends.

John was worried about Isabella. She had some back pain earlier in the day. John thought she still looked pale. He seemed to be taking care of Brady {Max} more and more.

Max gave someone offstage a big smile. He must have spotted mom or dad.

Their food came and Isabella had no desire to eat. Alice packed up their food so they could take it home. Brady {Max} just stared at his mom. Maybe he knew something was wrong too.

When they returned home, it was Brady's turn for lunch. He had his hand up by his mouth and wouldn't take his bottle. Isabella was very frustrated, slamming down the bottle, saying "Fine, then, don't take the bottle!" She was obviously very stressed.

Isabella immediately started rocking Brady {Max} saying, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry."

Isabella explained her temper with a lack of sleep, so John encouraged her to take a nap. She said she couldn't do that. John told Isabella not to argue. He also told her that he wanted her to make an appointment with Carly tomorrow, since the chiropractor hadn't worked out. She gave Brady {Max} and John goodnight kisses and went upstairs.

John promised Brady {Max} that his mama would be fine. He said Aunt Carly would fix her right up. For tonight, he said, "It's just you and me kid."
