In an April 2001 chat, Matt and Missy were asked about working with Megan and how she was cast in the role.

Melissa: "That's so funny [that fans think she's the best child actor ever to appear on Days]. Megan was actually in virtual Eden set. She was in those scenes, and I guess they saw her from those scenes and decided they wanted her to be a little younger. They changed the character completely. She really is a great little actress."
Matthew: "She has more credits than the two of us combined."
Melissa: "She keeps us on our toes."
Matthew: "She knows her lines and our lines."

Jack and Jenn are driving Abby to school. Jenn gets irritated by his joking around, which he picks up on quickly and hushes. Jack tells Abby that she doesn't have to worry about her school now that she is a resident of Salem. Abby asks them where SHE'S going to live if they both stay in Salem and why Jenn doesn't like Jack's jokes. {4/12/01}

Abby tells her parents she loves them as they drop her off at school. Jenn kisses her on the hand and they both tell her goodbye. {4/12/01}

Abby was supposed to be in bed. It was late and Jennifer was out, talking with Hope. Jack was downstairs trying to con Greta into making a business deal with him. Abby came into the room and said, "I heard voices down here."

Jack picked Abby up and said, "Well, look who it is, young Abigail." Abby said "Daddy!" Then Jack introduced Abby to "Princess Greta." Greta was embarrassed because Jack told Abby to call her Princess.

Greta told Abby she could just call her "Greta." Jack said, "Oh, no we are very formal in this house. This is Lady Abigail and I am (with Abby finishing the line) King Jack."

Jack and Abby then looked at each other and laughed. Then Abby said "Food fight." Then they started to talk about cupcakes.

After cupcakes, Jack sent Abby back to bed, before Jennifer got home and they would both be in trouble. This was the night of the accident on the bridge. Jenn wasn't coming home for awhile.
