Jennifer brought Laura to the Horton's for New Years. Pictured: Michael as Abby {1/4/94}

Laura was still in a catatonic state, but Jennifer wanted her to spend time with her granddaughter {Michael} and the rest of her family. {1/4/94}

Kate came over to see the Hortons, saying Hi to Abby {Michael}. We didn't know at the time that Abby was her son's niece. {1/4/94}

Abby {Michael} held a little pink bear while her mom talked to Tom and Alice. She gave the bear a little kiss. {1/4/94}

Jennifer went over to say goodbye to Tom and Alice. Abby {Michael} still had her bear and was giving it more kisses. {1/4/94}

Jennifer hugged and kissed her grandpa, while Abby {Michael} puckered up her lips to give her bear another kiss. {1/4/94}

Abby {Michael} finally got her mom and great grandpa's attention. Jenn started playing with Abby and her bear while Tom watched. {1/4/94}

Abby {Michael} wanted Tom to play too, so she held up the bear to his face, so he could give it a kiss. {1/4/94}

After Tom kissed the bear, Abby pulled it back to her and buried her head in it. Missy and Mac were having so much fun playing with Michael. This was probably as playful as Michael ever was onscreen and definitely the first time he'd had so much interaction with Mac. {1/4/94}

Michael started getting really silly and leaned down, hugging the bear very tightly. Missy had to grab him with a second hand because he was so active. {1/4/94}

After they stopped playing with the bear, Abby {Michael} pointed at Tom, still wanting him to play with her. He pointed right back at her. {1/4/94}

Jennifer sat down with Abby {Michael} to say goodbye to Laura before she went back to Pine Haven. Abby said goodbye by pounding on the arm rest on the wheelchair. {1/4/94}
