Jennifer explained to Abby that Grandma was sleeping and that she needed to wake up soon. She told Abby "Maybe you can help." Abby said "Yeah" and then said "Wake-Up Grandma." {6/9/97} |

Jack was let out of prison so he could visit Laura, Mickey had pulled some strings to get him out. Abby ran to her daddy. She then asked "Daddy, please come home." Jack was heartbroken. He wanted more than anything to be able to come home. {6/9/97} |

Jenn asked Abby {Ryanne} to go put some toys away. Before Abby got to the stairs she heard a car drive up she ran out the door and looked to see who it was. She said, "It's not daddy." It was Grandma Laura. |

Abby {Paige} and Jennifer talked to Mike about their visit to see Jack. They went to visit him in jail many times during his stay. {7/10/97} |

Mike kissed Abby {Paige} goodbye before she left. She held her stuffed rabbit and her ladybug backpack. It was filled with crayons and paper to make some pictures for her daddy during her visit (and to keep her busy while mom and dad talked). {7/10/97} |

Although Abby didn't seem frightened in the jail, she didn't understand why Jack was there rather than at home. She asked, "Are you coming home daddy?" He told her "very soon." {7/10/97} |

When they returned, Abby {Paige} told neighbor Trent (actually Travis) "I saw Daddy." Jenn had no idea that Trent was helping to keep Jack in jail. {7/10/97} |

Jenn and Laura were talking about Jack coming home. Abby looked up and said "I miss daddy. I want him home." {7/97} |
