Paige and Ryanne Kettner

Jack had just arrived at the cabin where Jennifer and Abby {Paige} were. Abby was happy to see her daddy. She asked him to stay with her and mommy. Jack said "I can't stay." Abby was very sad. {6/6/95}

Abby {Paige} and Jennifer were sitting inside as Jack left to catch the ferry back to Salem. Jennifer told Abby it was going to be just the girls. {6/6/95}

Jenn then told Abby {Paige} they would have peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for dinner. Abby said "Yeah." Then they heard a loud noise. It was Jack, who had missed the last ferry out. He asked Jenn if he could stay until morning. Jenn was not happy. {6/6/95}

Abby {Paige} came outside and said "Daddy, please stay." Jennifer couldn't make Jack leave after that, so Jack stayed. {6/6/95}

Jack wanted to take Abby {Ryanne} swimming. She was a little scared and wasn't sure she wanted to swim.

Jenn asked Abby {Ryanne} if she wanted to give it a try. Abby didn't say much, so Jack just assumed she did.

Ryanne was talking in the background. She said something about the ants coming to eat all the sand. Mark was talking with Melissa. He just keep on saying his lines and then would say "They are coming, watch." Ryanne kept looking down.

Abby {Ryanne} told Jack that today was the best day. Jack told Jennifer that Abby had said something else too.

Jack whispered to Abby {Ryanne}, "on three...1, 2, 3." Then Jack held Abby up and she yelled "Go swimming!"

Mark was trying to get Ryanne's attention from the leaves and the sand so he picked her up as they said their lines. It worked for about a minute.

After her big line, Ryanne got busy picking up leaves and crumbling them. She wasn't paying attention to the scene. When Missy said, "Why don't we all go together," Ryanne answered "Great!" without ever looking up from her leaves.

Jack said that Abby {Ryanne} was right, this was the best day.

Jack and Abby {Paige} at the Horton Cabin. Jack went up to the Horton Cabin to think, not knowing that Jennifer had gone up there to do the same thing.

Abby and Jack made s'mores for a snack after all that swimming.

Jack took Abby {Ryanne} in and got her ready for bed. He told her a story while they looked at the box. All of Jack's stories have a prince and princess.
