Paige and Ryanne Kettner

Abby {Ryanne} sang happy birthday to her daddy on the day they were leaving the cabin. Jenn sang with her and Abby stopped midway, leaving Jenn to sing alone. {6/14/95}

Abby did join in again for the last few words. Missy gave Ryanne a smile of approval. Jack was pretty speechless, just saying, "Thank you." He thought they had forgotten his birthday entirely. {6/14/95}

Abby {Paige} gave her daddy a picture she had drawn. He asked if she had drawn it for his birthday. There was a sudden edit to Paige saying, "Yeah." It's possible she didn't remember her line during the scene, so they had her do her line later and edited it in. {6/14/95}

Jack told Jennifer that she had made the day perfect. Abby {Paige} felt the love in the room and said, "Mommy, kiss daddy." She didn't seem to be talking to Jenn though. She faced the camera. {6/14/95}

Peter walked in just as they kissed. Abby {Ryanne} got her cue, then immediately announced to Peter, "It's Daddy's Birthday." {6/14/95}

Ryanne said her line, then covered up her mouth and leaned toward Missy. She started laughing a bit, as if she'd messed up her line. {6/14/95}

Jack took Abby outside where they looked at her puzzle box. Jack reminded her that it was a magic box. Ryanne's eyes got very big with excitement. {6/14/95}

Jack told Abby {Ryanne} that the box didn't have to open for it to be magical. He told her that they could wish their wishes into it. {6/14/95}

Jack wished that they would always remember their special weekend together. Abby {Ryanne} said, "Me too." {6/14/95}

Jack told Abby to hold onto the box so she could hold onto the memories. Ryanne held onto it tightly, even though she was a bit sleepy. {6/14/95}

Jack looked at this pic later after they returned to Salem and Jenn was back with Peter. He wanted so much for them to all be a family again.

Peter gave Abby a new doll, but somehow she cut her mouth on it. Jack brought her downstairs very upset. Jack and Jenn rushed her to the hospital.

Jack and Jenn watched over their daughter as she lay in the hospital.

Each parent gave Abby a kiss as she slept.

Abby wasn't in the hospital long. They brought her home later that night.
