Joshua and Jacob Rips

Bo and Hope took JT to his check up. Bo held JT up and said "Hi, big guy." Hope smiled and then took JT and held him on her lap until Dr. Maxwell came in. {1/18/01}

Dr. Maxwell came in and Hope and Bo both stood up to greet him. Dr. Maxwell leaned into JT and said "Hi, Little Fella. How are you doing?" Hope answered for JT, saying he was doing much better. {1/18/01}

JT started to fuss, so Hope gave him his pacifier, but he didn't really want it. He wanted the toy he was playing with, but in the end he took the pacifier. {1/18/01}

Dr. Maxwell had some great news for Bo and Hope. He said that he didn't believe that JT had FAS. He thought the heart problem was just that, a heart problem that any baby could have had. He thinks that Hope's love and prayers pulled little JT throught the rough roads. {1/18/01}

Bo and Hope were so excited after leaving the hospital they went for a walk in Salem Place. A lady stopped in front of them and said "Look at that baby. He is so cute." Bo and Hope both thanked her and moved on. Jacob was sitting so content in the stroller, just enjoying the walk. {1/18/01}

Bo and Hope were talking and watching J.T. {Jacob} swing in his baby swing. {3/15/01}

Bo and Hope watched as J.T. {Jacob} fell asleep, talking about how sweet and content he seemed to be. {3/15/01}
