Joshua and Jacob Rips

Hope brought J.T. into the hospital for a checkup. He seemed to enjoy flying through the air. {4/30/01}

J.T. had a teething ring he was really working on. {4/30/01}

Bonnie and J.T. headed back to the nurses' station area after his checkup. They ran into Brandon in the hall. J.T. was playing with his pacifier. {4/30/01}

Bonnie was beeped and needed to head to ER. Brandon said he'd take J.T. He gave a little goodbye wave to her. {4/30/01}

Brandon heard the sirens and said, "I can't have my DNA sample on file." He looked at J.T. and asked if he wanted to help his buddy Isaac. The next time we saw them, they were meeting back up with Hope, Lexie and Isaac. {4/30/01}

Hope gave J.T. some crackers when he returned. As he chewed, he paid close attention to the action. {4/30/01}

J.T. even gave a little smile. {4/30/01}

The last time we saw J.T., he had his blue blanket with him. The boys were obviously getting tired and they needed a bit of comfort to finish out their scenes. Even throughout this long work day, neither one of the Rips ever fussed. {4/30/01}

After J.T. and Hope left, Brandon flashed back to hearing the sirens while he held J.T. He snuck into the stairwell with the boy, obviously having a plan. {4/30/01}

Brandon took out J.T.'s pacifier and held the swab as J.T. looked right at it. {4/30/01}

As Brandon put the swab near J.T.'s mouth, he opened right up. Brandon put the swab in to get a sample from his cheek. J.T. didn't seem to mind at all. What a cooperative baby! {4/30/01}

J.T. watched and pointed to the swab after Brandon took it out. Brandon returned his pacifier with not a sound from J.T. {4/30/01}
