Although in the storyline, the Brady and Carver babies had already been switched, the babies playing them were not switched. Jacob and Joshua Rips continued playing Isaac Theo Carver, although Abe and Lexie now had the baby born to Bo and Hope. Days figured that viewers wouldn't notice the difference in the newborns, so they used Jacob or Joshua Rips as both the Brady and the Carver baby for the first couple of weeks.

Alice got Abe and Lexie a room in the hospital so they could spend time with the baby. Abe held the baby while Lexie went to go thank Marlo again for this precious little life she had given them. This sweet little face is Joshua.

Abe said, "You are too sleepy to feed right now." The baby was fast asleep. Lexie was watching Abe and the baby from the door.

Abe took a picture of Lexie and the baby {Joshua} coming into the house. Lexie was quick to remind Abe of the no flash rule. It hurts the baby's eyes.

Lexie was so excited to be home with her baby. She said "It had been my dream since I was a little girl. I am finally holding my baby {Joshua}."

The blanket was in the way of the Joshua's face. Renee moved the blanket from his face. The babies are shown sleeping a alot, since they are supposed to be the perfect baby that Hope gave birth to.

Abe and Lexie took the baby to his new room. They were shocked at all the decorations. Celeste went all out in the nursery.

Abe laid the baby down in his cradle. He didn't like that and he started to fuss right away. Maybe he was upset because his hat was coming off. Abe commented how tiny his hands are. But someday they will hold a basketball.

Stefano and Celeste came to visit. They were both turned away from seeing the baby because he was sleeping. Then just a few moments later Abe and Lexie were upstairs holding the baby. They were deciding on a name.

Lexie told Abe "Do you remember the story of Abraham, in the bible? Remember his son's name?" Abe said "Isaac." Lexie then said how about "Isaac Theo Carver." Abe said "For my brother" (who was killed in 1985). Then he welcomed "Isaac Theo Carver" into the world and kissed him on the head.
