Joshua and Jacob Rips

Even after they promised to bring him back, Glen had doubts. He was very afraid that he would end up in jail. As Glen and Barb walked up to the Brady house with JT {Joshua}, Glen said, "I just hope they keep their promise." Bo and Hope rushed out. Hope took him from Glen and said, "I missed you so much." {6/14/01}

Glen began apologizing for not bringing him {Joshua} back sooner. Barb commented, "He looks great, doesn't he?" Bo agreed that he did and he wanted to hold him. Glen continued apologizing. {6/14/01}

Hope told Glen, "I want to thank you again from the bottom of my heart." Then Bo and Hope invited them in to meet everyone. Glen said they were "just gonna split." But, they wouldn't take no for an answer. Bo, Hope, Glen, Barb and JT {Joshua} all went into the house. {6/14/01}

JT {Joshua} began fussing and everyone was trying to comfort him. He had his blanket and binky, but they weren't helping. Hope tried to give him a teething ring and a bear. Everyone continued with their lines though. Glen again explained how they had mistaken JT for Isaac. Everyone thanked Glen for returning JT. Hope realized what all this meant. She asked Glen if he was going to do a DNA test again and seek custody of Isaac. {6/14/01}

Glen continued talking. He said he had every right to see his son. Hope reminded him that Isaac had a family he loved. Barb agreed. But Glen said, "These people lied to us." Bo and Hope weren't very invested in his talking. They were too happy to have their boy back. Bo was busy kissing JT {Joshua} while Hope was making funny faces at him. {6/14/01}

Abby and Jack arrived for JT's {Joshua} welcome home party. Everyone was in the middle of talking with Glen and Barb, so they just hung out in the doorway. Both Jack and Abby gave Jennifer a little wave. It's one of the only scenes where we've seen these cousins together. Their moms are cousins, so they are first cousins, once removed, which are sometimes considered second cousins. {6/14/01}

After Glen and Barb left, everyone happily greeted JT {Joshua}. Jenn was especially happy to see him, since she had been the last family member to see him. She told him, "you don't know how good it is to see you." {6/14/01}

Hope said, "Thank God Glen and Barb had the goodness in their hearts to bring JT {Joshua} back to us." Alice reminded them that he was home just in time for his birthday. Abby asked if she could hold him and Jenn said maybe later. Then Bo, who was swinging JT up and down, realized someone else was missing. He asked, "Where is our other son?" Hope, busy playing with JT's feet, said, "I have no idea." {6/14/01}
