Joshua and Jacob Rips

Bo came home from work to find his in-laws, Doug and Julie taking care of his youngest son, JT {Jacob}. He wasn't very happy about Hope always being gone and never being home anymore. {8/23/01}

Doug and Julie tried to make excuses for the laundry on the chair and house being messy, by saying Hope was in a hurry when she left. That upset Bo even more. Then Julie turned and took JT from Doug. JT {Jacob} was not happy about that, he was pretty happy and content with Grandpa Doug. {8/23/01}

Bo then insulted Doug and Julie by saying that "Hope needs to stop leaving the caring for our son up to baby sitters." Then Bo tried to get JT {Jacob} from Julie and she wouldn't give him over to his dad, she said he was too upset and would upset him. {8/23/01}

Hope came in and wondered what was going on. Then looked at JT and said, he looks like he needs a nap. Julie chimed in with "We will go and put him down for a nap." Jacob {JT} was already falling asleep in Susan's arms. {8/23/01}

Jenn was over talking with Hope about the search for Hope's past, when she was pregnant with JT. Hope says it's really all about John. Jenn adds, "which means it's really all about your past." Hope was busy looking through drawers for something, so Jenn was entertaining JT {Joshua} on her own. {8/27/01}

Missy found a car on the table and started running it up and down Joshua. He looked away from her and the car, seeking some comfort from someone. Missy said, "You like that don't you?" Clearly he didn't. {8/27/01}

Joshua started to fuss just a bit. It was obvious he was actually tired. He turned around and laid down on Missy's shoulder. She cuddled with him. It fit perfectly with the dialogue, as Jenn said, "I want to have another one...I love the way they smell...it brings back the sweetest memories." {8/27/01}

Hope asked if Abby was asking about having a little brother or sister. Jenn said she wasn't, but she was asking if Jack and Jenn would sleep in the same bed. Joshua started pointing at the flowers on the table. Missy got very excited about them, right along with him. {8/27/01}

Jenn told Hope it was never going to happen. She said things had changed lately. Joshua was watching something in Missy's hand. She touched it over on the table and then moved it. He followed her with his head. {8/27/01}

Joshua began pointing at something again. Missy was doing her best to respond to him while she continued on with her lines. She said things had changed now that Greta was in the picture. It was a new dynamic for the three of them. {8/27/01}

Jenn reminded Hope how she'd told her she figured Jack would never get married again, but now she wondered. Jenn said she thought Greta was falling for him. Hope said, "What are you going to do about it?" Joshua as JT {8/27/01}
