Hope was talking with Jenn about how she hated the idea of a DNA test. JT had just woken up from a nap. Jacob didn't seem to enjoy his head being rubbed. He would pull away each time Kristian put her hand on his head. {1/10/02}

Hope said, "Look at him, so sweet and innocent." Jenn couldn't believe that Hope might have to give him up if the test proved that he wasn't her biological son. {1/10/02}

Hope then told Jenn, "You tell me. How can they ask me to give up my child? How is it good for him to say good bye to me? I am the only mom he knows." Jenn didn't know what to tell her cousin. All she could say was "WE have to fight to keep him." {1/10/02}

Hope said, "We will, I promise." About three months later, Hope would break her promise and be giving up JT and the fight. {1/10/02}

Shawn wanted to go to the DNA test, even though Bo and Hope wished he would just wait at home for them. Shawn took JT's hat off and said he didn't need it. {1/16/02}

Bo still tried to talk Shawn into staying home. But Shawn was determed to take his little brother. {1/16/02}

Shawn took JT from his dad and offered to carry him out. Hope mumbled something about losing JT. Bo said not to worry, because JT wasn't going anywhere, at least not today. {1/16/02}

When they arrived for the DNA test they had to show ID. Hope showed her ID since she was the "mom" of the minor child in question. {1/16/02}

They took a picture of Hope and JT to staple to the DNA sample. {1/16/02}

Jacob gave no hassle over the cotton swab going in his mouth. He was perfect taking it in and then letting it back out. Everyone watched the young actor in amazement. This was the second time Jacob sucked on a cotton swab for his "job". {1/16/02}

Hope signed off on JT's DNA sample. Shawn held his little the brother the whole time. {1/16/02}

Bo and Hope were getting JT's jacket on. As Barb and Glen left, Shawn went after them to talk about JT with them. {1/16/02}

Hope took JT's jacket off since Shawn was out in the hall talking with Glen and Barb for a long time. {1/16/02}

Jacob just leaned into Peter's shoulder while, Kristian {Hope}, Josh {Roman} and Peter talked. He looked up at the lights/boom guy. Then rested his chin on his hand. {1/16/02}

Jacob coughed and everyone stopped talking and Kristian asked "Are you ok, baby?" Jacob just looked at them like "It was only a cough." He coughed a few times, but acted like it was no big deal. {1/16/02}
