Jason put Jacob in the crib so he could do his next scene, which called for him to be on the phone. Jacob got in the crib and walked over to the mobile and starting hitting it. {1/17/02}

Jason was leaning on the crib talking on the phone to Jan, when Jacob popped up with a little stuffed toy and hit the mobile again. Jason moved back a little and kept on saying his lines. Jacob was really going after the mobile. Even when Jason walked away, you could hear the mobile swinging around and Jacob laughing. {1/17/02}

Shawn got off the phone and went and picked up JT. Shawn was talking about Jan to JT and how he wished Jan knew the love of loving a child. He wanted Jan to keep her baby, but she didn't want it. {1/17/02}

Jacob was staring offstage. He must have been able to see a TV montior in the studio and when he saw himself, he called out "brother," which is what Jacob and Joshua call each other. Jason didn't really understand at first, just adding in a little line of "Oh, ok." {1/17/02}

Shawn kept talking about how he wished Jan knew. Then JT leaned into his brother for some love. {1/17/02}

Shawn started to talk about how JT was always going to be his brother, even if it wasn't by blood. When Jason said brother, it prompted little Jacob to say "brother" again. This time he yelled it out, like he was really calling for him. {1/17/02}

Jacob got a little shy after yelling. Jason tried not to laugh when he yelled. He just said, "What?" Then Jacob said brother one more time. This time it was soft and clear. {1/17/02}

It was so sweet to hear Jacob yelling for his real life brother as he was talking with his onscreen brother. Too bad Jason didn't catch what he was saying or play into it a little more. It kind of caught him off guard since he was repeating him. {1/17/02}

After Jason was done with his lines. He said, "Give me a kiss." We're not sure if this was part of the script or if it was just Jason. Jacob laughed and giggled as Jason kissed him. They both shared a big smile after the kiss. {1/17/02}

In early 2002, fans on the Shawn & Belle: Fanfics and Chatter board began a "Leather for JT" campaign to give Jacob and Joshua leather jackets in order to crown them official "Brady guys." Board members decided that it was time for JT to carry on the tradition of the leather jacket, which have been worn by both Shawn and Bo. In their words, "Like a tough outer shell that hides the true softies they are inside, ALL Brady men need leather." The board sent two leather jackets to Jacob and Joshua, hoping they would eventually wear the jackets onscreen as JT. Although that never happened, their campaign gained attention and was even written up in Soap Opera Weekly. Hope talked with JT about having two brothers...Isaac and Shawn. Jacob was jumping in the crib, so Kristian picked him up, but he wanted back in. {3/1/02}

Kristian tried to give him the stuffed animal, but he didn't really want it. She ended up putting him back in the crib. {3/1/02}

JT went to visit Glen and Barb several times under the court guidelines. This photo was just before his last visit. It was this time with his son that made Glen determined to be aggressive with the custody fight. Jacob as JT.
