Joshua and Jacob Rips

Bo helped JT fly down onto the couch to sit with his parents. Peter always knew how to make Jacob {seen here} and Joshua laugh or smile with little things like this. {4/26/02}

Hope hid behind the bear and JT grabbed to pull it down. She said, "Guess what we're having to dinner tonight." Then she answered her own question with, "Mac and cheese...yeah!!!!!!!!!" Then she put the bear into JT's stomach and tried to tickle him with it. Bo added that they would also have cherry jigglers. {4/26/02}

Jacob wasn't interested in having that bear in his stomach. He pushed it back toward Kristian. Then he pushed Peter's hand away too. He wanted to get loose to grab something on the table. {4/26/02}

Hope said they'd be having all of his favorites. Kristian then realized what Jacob wanted...a box on the table. She pulled it over and said that was one of his favorites too. He had something in his hand. She opened the box for him and he peeked inside. Then he dropped the item in and closed the box, all on his own. Bo and Hope agreed that they would let JT stay up as long as he wanted, hoping the night would never end. {4/26/02}

Shawn came downstairs and Bo and Hope had to tell him that this would be their last night with JT. Shawn was not taking it well. He really laid into Bo. He told him, "I thought you were going to find a way..." Bo interrupted saying, "I tried...I did my best." Shawn said, "What is that because I'm under the impression that they're taking my brother away." The whole time, Peter was playing with Jacob. He held out his hand and Jacob took a small toy from it. Jacob began investigating the toy. He even held it up to his nose to smell what it was. Bo then pulled Shawn aside to talk to him. He really lectured him about talking that way in front of his mother and JT, not wanting JT to leave them with a sadness that he didn't understand. {4/26/02}

Hope then talked to Shawn about what this night would mean to JT. She asked Shawn to show him how much he loved his brother, since it would be the last time. Bo came over with JT and asked, "Can you do that Sailor Man? Can you do that for your brother?" JT leaned in toward Shawn, holding his bag of snacks. He must have gotten the bag while Peter had him during Shawn and Hope's talk. {4/26/02}

Shawn took his brother and kissed him saying, " I guess I can." The family hugged. Kristian leaned in from her seat on the couch. Just then, Jacob started wiggling and moved himself down in Jason's lap. Kristian and Jacob bumped heads. He wasn't phased, but she clearly said, "Oohh" and had a painful look on her face. {4/26/02}
