Max was warmly greeted by his new sister, Kimberly {Patsy Pease} when he spent his first Christmas as a Brady. Kimberly asked Max to come closer because she wanted to say hi to her new brother. Max's new nephew, Andrew {Robert Eliot Canko}, looked on. |

| Max was the ringbearer for Steve and Kayla's wedding in July of 1988. Frankie helped him get dressed in his tux. |
Steve asked Max how he liked wearing that monkey suit. He reluctantly said, "It's OK." |
Max told Steve, "I just hope I don't mess up." Steve had confidence in him and said, "You're not going to mess up little dude." |
Steve said they'd picked Max because the knew he'd do the best job. Max said he was still nervous. Steve started shaking Max and said, "So am I!" |
Max proudly walked down the aisle on the boat with the rings. He did a great job and was there to pass them to Steve and Kayla at the right time. |
After the wedding, Max, Frankie and Jenn returned to the Fish Market. Max asked, "Was I good Frankie?" He wanted reassurance that he'd been a good ringbearer. |
Max turned to Caroline and said, "Really Mama, was I?" Caroline said he was the best ringbearer she'd ever seen and she'd seen many. |
It was time for bed, so Frankie helped Max onto Shawn's back to ride upstairs. |
Frankie hadn't come upstairs to say goodnight, so Max came looking for him. Frankie told Shawn and Caroline that he needed to talk to Max alone. |
Max asked if it was a secret. Frankie told him it was more of a surprise. He sat him down to tell him about his father. |
Max said he liked surprises. He asked Frankie, "What is it?" Frankie didn't know where to begin. |
Frankie asked Max if he remembered Trent, the bad guy they'd been running away from. Max said, "Yeah." Frankie said maybe he'd made a mistake about him...maybe he wasn't such a bad guy after all. Max said he knew that because Trent had come with Jennifer and helped them after the accident. |
Suddenly, Trent entered the Fish Market. Frankie was horrified about what Trent might say or do. Trent asked Max how he was doing. He said, "Great!" |
| Frankie told Trent he hadn't had a chance to tell him yet. Max asked, "What's wrong Frankie?" "Tell me what?" Trent said, Why don't you let me?" Trent sat down with Max to talk to him... |
| Trent told Max he didn't need to be afraid of him because he was his...friend. Trent told Max he just wanted him to be happy. He asked Max, "Are you happy?" Max replied, "I'm happy." |
| Trent told Max he'd like to come and visit his friend again sometime. He asked what Max thought of that. Max said, "I say sure." He held out his hand for a handshake. |
| Frankie told Max they didn't have to worry anymore and they didn't have to runaway anymore. Max gave Frankie, Mom and Pop a big smile. |

Max came to the Spectator offices to place an ad in the paper. Emilio, Jack's bodyguard, couldn't keep Max from barging into Jack's office. Max was on a mission. |

Max was looking for Jennifer. He knew she would help him. Jack told Max he'd need to deal with him since Jennifer wasn't there. Jack said he was better off dealing with the "big cheese." Jack said he was "the man." |

Max was looking for a "grandpa." He said his Pop was too busy with the fish market and his mom didn't have as much time for him anymore since she'd been sick. Max told Jack that he wanted to advertise. He knew that's how people got things that they wanted. |

Max knew Jack wasn't taking him seriously. Jack told Max he'd need to have money to place an ad. Max pulled out a lot of stuff from his fanny pack. |

Max piled coins, toy cars, and a number of other things on Jack's desk. Jack counted it up (not cheating of course because Max said he was watching him) and figured that would be enough to pay for the ad. |

![]() | Jack said that the Spectator was always happy to help their advertisers write. Max's requirements for a grandpa: "He's got to fish...and baseball... and checkers...but he's not supposed to be very good at it, because I'm supposed to win sometimes too." Jack wrote the ad and counted up the words for him. |
![]() | Max had too many words in his ad, which meant more money. He decided to give Jack his special marble. That still wasn't enough, so Max left a baseball card with Jack and took his ad home to work on it some more. |
