The family waves goodbye to Santa (Kayla). This time, Grandma Caroline {Peggy McCay} and Grandpa Shawn {Frank MacLean} are seen too.

Ryan has a very curious look on his face here. In this scene, he was questioning why there was a new Santa Claus at the pier, a role that Steve {Stephen Nichols} usually played. Kayla was playing Santa, while trying to hide from Victor.

Max introduced himself to Shane at the 1989 Christmas festivities. Shane had amnesia and had very reluctantly come to the family event since he didn't remember anyone. When Shawn told Shane that Max was their son, Max added the word "adopted."

Max and Carrie were excited to see Stephanie. She had just come home to the family after being kidnapped. Carrie told Max that holding Stephanie would be the first step in being a good uncle, so he decided to give it a try.

Steve told Max that Stephanie would one day call him Uncle Maxwell. Max said she wouldn't because Steve was the only one who called him Maxwell. He'd just be uncle Max.

The Bradys and Hortons celebrated Thanksgiving together in 1990 because they were united in their worry for their missing family members who were in Lawrence's villa. Sarah sat and entertained Max and Shawn Douglas {Scott Groff}.

Max and Frankie did some Christmas shopping and chatted. Max was afraid Frankie would leave again. Max said he'd missed Frankie and Jennifer had too.

In this scene, like so many others, Ryan showed lots of emotion with his facial expressions.

Max celebrated yet another Christmas in the Brady kitchen in 1990. This was the last Christmas that Roman spent as Roman. The next Christmas, he was John Black.

Ryan and Billy Warlock {Frankie} shared a joyful reunion both on-screen and off as they were together for the first time in over two years.

Here are the Brady cousins (and Max, their uncle), sitting at the table, celebrating Bo's birthday. Shawn pulled out an old trick: his spill cup. He had apparently used it with Roman, Kim, Kayla and Bo as well. As he "drank" his milk, it ran down the front of him and all the kids laughed.

Ryan was part of a very rare picture. All of the Brady cousins were gathered together for a picture for the 1992 Days Calendar. Max celebrates one of his last Christmases (1991) with the Bradys. He and his nieces and nephews recreated the Christmas story. Max was the director of the production, since he was the oldest. He also served as the narrator and a wise man.

Max joined his nieces and nephews at a "welcome home" party for Roman. The kids held Roman down while Caroline prepared to give him his surprise.

Caroline threw a pie at Roman's face, then dumped the pan on his head. Max and the other kids laughed, enjoying the prank tremendously.
