Jonathan and Thomas Selstad started playing Philip at the age of 8 weeks. They were born Novemeber 1, 1994, they played Philip for four years. They have been in a Midas commerical, a Pepsi commercial with Rick Moranis, and a Carnation Follow-up formula commercial. They played baby George in Father of the Bride: Part II with Steve Martin. This shot was taken right after Philip was born. Victor was holding his son for the first time. In real life, it is Jonathan and Thomas' dad who takes them to the set each time they work.

After Philip was born, since he didn't really belong to Vivian, Kate prepared to take him home after the doctors checked him. Kate took Philip in to tell Vivian thank you and goodbye.

Philip was only a couple days old on the show, but the Selstads were obviously much older. Here Jonathan/Thomas had his arm wrapped around Deborah. Few newborns could have pulled that off. Look at all that hair too!

Victor and Kate took Philip out of her room and in a condescending way, Kate said to Philip, "say bye bye." Victor and Kate both gave her a little goodbye wave.

Lucas, Billie, Bo and Austin were all really excited about meeting their new baby brother. Lucas was the first one to hold Philip.

When Vivian came home from the hospital she started to breastfeed Philip. Kate freaked out and didn't want Vivian breastfeeding "her" child. Philip was crying and Vivian was trying to calm him.

Kate grabbed Philip out of Vivian's arms and immediately took him out of the room.

Victor talked with Kate about it, and they agreed they wanted what was best for Philip. Kate allowed Vivian to breastfeed him for about a week. Then she talked with Dr. Mike and he said it would ok to give Philip formula so she could bond with her son instead of Vivian.

Kate was sure that Vivian wanted to keep Philip for her own. Jonathan/Thomas seemed to enjoy sucking on Deborah Adair's shoulder, you could here the sucking sound. Deborah didn't seem to mind too much.

This was an adorable scene between Steve and one of the Selstads. Steve had his arm in the baby's sleeve and made his arm swing up to hit him in the face, as if the young kid was hitting his grandfather.

Ivan feeding Philip. Vivian was supposed to be breastfeeding Philip, but she was sitting back enjoying a glass of wine instead.

As soon as Vivian heard Victor and Kate coming, she told Ivan "Hurry, give me the kid." She wanted to pretend she was breastfeeding Philip.

You could see the love in Kate's eyes for her son. If only Vivian would have learned what the word "No" meant and left the Kiriakises alone.

Philip was in his mom's arms again for a fantasy.

As Kate floated in the water, she dreamed that her whole family was together for a portrait. Everyone was there: Kate, Lucas, Austin, Billie, Philip and Victor.

If they were only happy for real instead of in a dream...

After Victor found out that Kate's plane had gone down, he needed to be with his son. He brought him downstairs and told Philip to say Hi to his brother Bo.

This adorable boy was without a mother because of Vivian.

It took this horrible situation to bring Bo and his little brother together. This was the first time he'd held Philip.

Bo and Billie shared more than just their love for each other. They also shared a half brother, Philip.

Victor told Philip that his mommy was gone and went to a better place. He promised Philip he would always be there for him. The search for Kate had been called off and Kate was presumed dead.

Caroline tried to convince Victor that Kate was gone. Victor didn't want to believe it, not just yet.

Vivian took Philip to see Victor at Titan on Victor's birthday. Vivian thought he could use some cheering up, since it was about a month after Kate's death.

Here, Philip is lying in his crib smiling at Victor. Vivian looked at him, then said he needed a diaper change. Victor asked her to do the honors.

Philip peed on Vivian. She was not the least bit amused. Victor and Ivan got a big kick out of it. Philip was smiling too.

Vivian was going to hold it against Philip, but one look at that sweet face and she was in love. She said she would need him on her side when he was a teenager.
