Vivian had taken Philip to Titan to visit Victor. Philip was laughing out loud at something off stage. It was a really cute scene between one of the Selstads and John Aniston {Victor}. |
There are no words for this cute and adorable face. |
Vivian came over to see Philip and he was crying up a storm. Victor didn't know what to do. |
Vivian asked Victor if she could hold him and try to comfort him. Victor said ok, but he has been crying for almost a hour and will not stop. He then handed her Philip. |
As soon as Vivian got Philip and sat down, he stopped crying. The Jonathan/Thomas wasn't not crying to begin with. The crying was obviously dubbed in. |
Kate {Lauren Koslow} and Philip are finally reunited. This was Kate's first time seeing her son in almost a year. |
Thanks to Vivian, Kate missed the first year of Philip's life. |
Philip listened as Kate spoke with the maid about the fish soup. Kate was planning on taking the soup and dumping it on Vivian's head. |

Vivian arrived for Thanksgiving at the Kiriakis mansion. It was Billie who greeted Vivian and immediately told her that she didn't belong because she hadn't been invited. |
Philip tried to back out of the way as Austin and Billie hugged. Austin told Billie how happy he was that she was home for Thanksgiving this year. |
Philip with his sister Billie. Sami was talking about being thankful for the things she had in life. Everyone thought she was up to her old tricks. |
The Selstads were very content with Krista Allen-Moritt. They were only seen in her arms. No one else held them in these scenes. This was the first time we had seen the character of Philip since March of 1996, when Kate returned from the dead. |
Philip gave his daddy Victor a present for Father's Day in 1997. It was a picture of him and his mommy {Lauren Koslow}. Victor loved the picture even though he couldn't tell Philip. This was just before Vivian threw them out of the Kiriakis Mansion. |
Jonathan/Thomas seemed to be a little tired here, he didn't smile at all. When he was first shown walking into the room with Kate, he was rubbing his eyes. |
Philip at Marlena's penthouse. This was right after Vivian threw Kate and Philip out of the Kiriakis Mansion. This was the last time we saw Philip for a while, as he disappeared for about 6 months. It's interesting to note that this same stroller was used by Abby in 1993 when Abby and Jenn visited Laura at the sanitarium. |
Philip at the annual Christmas Story reading at the hospital. His big brother Bo was doing the reading. Philip looked as if someone had just woken him up. He was still half asleep. |
Kate was so busy watching Bo and Billie, that when she went to kiss Philip, her lips didn't even touch him. |
Kate and Philip at the circus in early 1998. This was the most recent appearance of Philip. Philip might be the richest child in Salem, but is also the most neglected child. |
Jonathan and Thomas are getting very handsome. Since we only see the kids about twice a year. We thought you might enjoy a few extra pics. |
Philip and his nephew Will {Shawn Carpenter} enjoy the circus with their family. This was the first time ever of Philip and Will together. |
This was the first time we saw either Austin or Lucas interact with Philip since he was born. It was great to see Kate with all three of her boys. |
Philip enjoyed his popcorn. He dropped a couple of pieces and watched them roll to the floor. This was Jonathan and Thomas' last scene as Philip. They were replaced in December 1998. This episode marked Jonathan and Thomas' 30th appearance as Philip Robert Kiriakis. |
The Selstads weren't out of the minds of the people at Days in 1999. During this April 30, 1999 scene with Victor at the rehab center, we saw a picture of Victor and Philip in the background. This was the last time we saw the Selstads on Days. |
This was a comic in Soap Opera Update. It is the only item ever in any magazine, of the boys playing Philip. Pictured here is Kate Roberts, Victor and Philip Kiriakis and Vivian Alamain. |
