Taylor and Shawn Carpenter

Sami was getting ready to leave for Carrie and Austin's engament party. Austin wanted Will {Taylor} their, but he didn't want Sami there. Sami was thinking up her next plan to get Austin away from Carrie.

Sami showed up at the party with a friend. She was trying to make Austin jealous. It was working, Austin didn't like the idea of another guy taking care of his son {Taylor}. Sami invited herself in to join the party.

Will {Shawn} sat with his soon-to-be godfather Jonah and his girlfriend Wendy.

Austin and Carrie were given a pre-honeymoon trip as a gift from Kate. They were going to leave for Paris in the next few days. Shawn just watched as they cheered to the good news.

Carrie was excited about becoming Will's {Shawn} step-mother. She wanted Will to come and live with her and Austin.

Austin and Carrie went to the Pub to tell Shawn and Caroline bye. They were leaving on their pre-honeymoon. Kate had it all planned out and wasn't telling anyone, not even Austin and Carrie, where they were going. Sami walked in and said Will "wanted to see his daddy." Everyone was just happy to see Will, they ignored Sami and Lucas. Austin talked about how big Will was getting and he joked about how he must be eating lots of "Brady Burgers".

Austin and Carrie ignored Sami and played with Will. Austin told Will he was going to miss him very much. Austin thanked Sami for letting him see Will and handed him back to her.

As Austin and Carrie were getting ready to leave the Pub. Sami piped up and said "Grandma, don't let me leave with out talking to you about the reception being held here at the pub after Will's baptism. Austin was upset that Sami choose to re-baptize Will when he was out of town.

Sami and Lucas were proud of themselves. They thought they had stopped the pre-honeymoon with this bomb shell. No way was Austin going out of town when his son was going to get baptized. Shawn had had enough of acting and started to get fussy. Shawn and Taylor were rarely fussy. This scene is only one of a handful where Will was upset for no reason. Mainly the fussy scenes were before age one.

Sami talked with Will as he tried to stand up in the playpen. Taylor was perfectly content in the playpen. He was very upset once Ali picked him up.

Lucas came over to give Sami the invitations that she had already said she had printed weeks ago. Lucas was always helping Sami and at the time he had no idea that Will was his son. Taylor was still upset, he looked right over at the camera and cried out. He wasn't crying very loud, just the look on his face let everyone know he wasn't happy. Ali kept saying, "It's ok, Will."

Sami asked Jamie to be Will's {Taylor} godmother on the day of the baptism. Sami knew that Austin had already planned on Carrie being Will's godmother.

Jamie agreed to be Will's {Taylor} godmother, not knowing that Austin had already asked Carrie. Carrie was already Will's godmother from the baptism at the hospital when Will was first born and was very ill.

Baby switch...Shawn took over for Taylor when Sami walked into the Pub with Will. Jonah greeted Sami and then talked with his little buddy, Will. Sami was there to see Austin. He had called her over to the pub to talk about the baptism.

Austin and Carrie were both there to talk with Sami, along with Kate, Shawn and Caroline. Everyone knew what Sami was up to. Austin started in about lying about the baptism and about how she planned it to take place when him and Carrie were supposed to go out of town.

Sami started to get upset, saying she planned it weeks ago and had no idea they were going out of town. Austin then said "I wasn't going to cancel, but Carrie talked me into it, because she loves me." Sami then said that Jamie was going to be godmother, since Carrie was going to be out of town. Austin said, "No way, Carrie is godmother." Then he said sorry to Jamie, it was just that Carrie was already Will's godmother.

As Austin and Sami went back and forth, Will {Shawn} just looked all around, looking up at the lights and then off stage.

Will started to fuss and Sami gave him a pacifier. Kate jumped in and said "I have taken care of everything. The pre-honeymoon is still on. The baptism will be held today at St. Luke's. I talked with someone there and we can do it today. Austin and Carrie will leave later tonight. Sami objected, but once everyone knocked out all her reasons as to why not, she agreed to doing the baptism today.

Carrie held Will during the baptism. Taylor was wide awake here. It must have been a long taping because Shawn was switched in and he was fast asleep.

When the priest arrived he said, "Mr. and Mrs. Reed are you ready?" looking right at Austin and Carrie. Carrie was smiling from ear to ear, she was happy to be called Mrs. Reed. They corrected him and then he asked for the godmother to hold Will.

Austin said that Carrie would be Will's godmother, no offense to Jamie. But he thought that was right. Carrie held the sleeping Will {Shawn} and the priest prayed over him. Sami looked on with a look that could kill. For once not everything was going Sami's way.

Will {Shawn} slept right through the baptism.

Even when the priest poured the holy water over his head, he was sound asleep, only moving a little.

Sami talked with Lucas after the baptism. Lucas had no idea he was baptizing his own son. Shawn as Will.

As Sami and Lucas talked, Will {Shawn} just looked all around watching everything. He was just waking up.

Sami was very proud of her son's baptism and helping to delay Austin and Carrie's departure from Salem. Shawn as Will.

Sami loves her son {Shawn} a lot. There is no doubt about that.
