Taylor and Shawn Carpenter

Austin was getting ready to leave for John and Kristen's wedding. Sami wanted to go but wasn't feeling up to it. Well, that is what she told Austin. Sami already had most of her memory back but hadn't told Austin about it. Austin told Will {Shawn} to be a good boy.

Sami told Austin "I hate this, that you are going and I am staying home." Austin said, "It will be ok, I will only go for a little while and then come straight home." Will {Shawn} just watched as his parents talked.

Sami told Lucas how upset she was that Austin left for the wedding. Lucas said it was ok because "Mike and Carrie are at the wedding together." That was just what Sami wanted Austin to see: Carrie moving on with her life. Shawn as Will.

Lucas asked Will if he wanted juice, Will nodded his head yes. Shawn was quick to watch him and make sure he went to get it.

Lucas brought Will a car. Will took the car and looked at it and then placed it on the table. Shawn looked a little sleepy, until he started playing with the car on the table.

Will {Shawn} moved the car back and forth on the table. Sami and Lucas were still talking about their plan to get Carrie and Mike together and get Austin to marry Sami.

Lucas took Will from Sami and went and sat in Sami's wheelchair, since Sami was walking now. Lucas said he was tired and placed the car on the floor and just held Will. Shawn looked sleepy again. He just laid back in Bryan's arms as he played with the car.

Will looks like he is paying close attention to what Sami and Lucas have to say. Taylor was traded in for Shawn, since Shawn looked very sleepy.

Austin came home a little while later and the first thing he did was pick up Will. Then he started talking about the wedding that didn't take place. Taylor was chewing on his fingers. He was seen doing this a lot at this age, but as he got older, he lost the habit.

Austin told Lucas and Sami that no one was happy at the wedding. A lot was happening and he just decided to leave before everything got out of hand. Austin didn't stick around long enough to see that Marlena was alive. He did see Mike and Carrie together.

Will {Taylor} listening to Carrie and Austin talk about the wedding and Marlena being alive and Kristen lying about Elvis/John Jr. The whole thing was all over now.

Austin gave Will a new bike. Lucas helped Austin put it together. Sami was looking at Will's baby book and figured out that Lucas was Will's father, not Austin.

Austin spent some time with his son, saying the nursery rhyme "Old King Cole." Taylor as Will. {7/97}

Lucas wanted to hold his "favorite nephew," but Sami refused. She was very fearful that Lucas would discover that Will {Taylor} was his son. {7/97}

There shouldn't have ever been any question about Will's {Shawn} paternity. The look on Will's face gives away his parentage. Both his dad, Lucas and Mom, Sami, have the same look. {7/97}

Lucas came to spend time with his "nephew." He brought Will {Taylor} a dinosaur to play with. {7/97}

Will's behavior here was similar to his reaction to Lucas in 1998. Will {Taylor} rejected the dino, soon giving it back to Lucas. Lucas tried to continue entertaining him with it, but he didn't seem too interested, just staring at Lucas. {7/97}

While Sami talked with Lucas, Will found a nice little strand of hair to tug on. Alison didn't seem to pay attention to it, just letting Taylor continue to pull. {7/97}
