Taylor and Shawn Carpenter

Sami was afraid that Will was going to die. Austin wasn't going to allow that. He told Sami that Will was going to be ok.

Austin started to say a prayer for Will. Then Grandpa Roman and Aunt Carrie walked in and joined in on the prayer.

As they were all praying, Will woke up. He had brain surgery and his chances of living were not that good, but he pulled through just fine.

After Will woke up, Austin and Sami stayed at his side, thanking God that he was alright. There were some other happy things going on around the set too. Taylor and Shawn were celebrating their third birthday.

Shawn {L} and Taylor {R} turned 3 years old on September 5, 1998. They celebrated their third birthday with Austin Peck, Christie Clark, Josh Taylor and Alison Sweeney who all play onscreen family members, Uncle Austin, Aunt Carrie, Grandpa Roman and Mom Sami.

Shawn {L} and Taylor {R} took turns blowing out candles. Taylor shown here, was being cheered on by Christie, Josh, Austin and his brother Shawn. Now that the boys are older the way to tell who is who is by their face. Shawn is smaller in the face but is taller than Taylor, but Taylor is bigger in the face but is short in height. {photography by Aaron Montgomery}
