Taylor and Shawn Carpenter

Taylor was held by Josh Taylor {Roman Brady}, while Shawn was held by Joseph Mascolo {Stefano DiMera} for the cover shot of SOM, featuring the men of Salem. Taylor and Shawn were included in this special issue of "Salem Stunners." This marks Taylor and Shawn's second magazine cover, their first together.

Three of the female co-stars commented on the men of DAYS. Here's what was said about Taylor {L} and Shawn {R}. "They are the most incredible twins. They are so quiet on the set. They're golden babies," said Renee Jones {Lexie Carver}.

A few more quotes about Taylor {L} and Shawn {R}, "The twins are very cute," Patrika Darbo {Nancy Wesley} agrees. "And as soon as one decides to talk to you, the other one will, too."
They are so quiet," adds Suzanne Rogers {Maggie Horton} "but when they laugh, it's the most adorable, infectious sound."

This is Taylor {L} and Shawn's {R} first cast photo. They have been on the show for three years. They started when they were only 6 weeks old. They were 4 weeks old when their mom called an agent, after being encouraged by a friend whose daughters had been cast on General Hospital in the role of Lesley Lu. They have grown-up alot since then. They now have their own storylines and even talk on screen now. Although Shawn is a little shy, Taylor is always ready to talk.

Marlena's penthouse was filled with children during the Christmas holidays in 1998. Brady {Brandon}, Belle and Will {Shawn} all had a visit from Santa at the penthouse. They spent time decorating the tree, making cookies, and being with their family. {photo courtesy austinpeck.com }

Will {Shawn} celebrated Christmas at his grandma Marlena's penthouse. Taylor and Shawn's appearance in the final Christmas episode marked their 66th appearance on Days in 1998. That surpasses numerous other actors on the show, making them 27th in a rank of the number of appearances of each actor during the year.
