Taylor and Shawn Carpenter

Will {Shawn} eating breakfast with Tracey, who was taking care of him while Austin and Sami were away. She had no idea that Sami had been caught by the police and taken into custody. {3/24/99}

Shawn sat so well eating his breakfast. Tracey was just talking away about how she was worried about Will's mom and Uncle Austin. {3/24/99}

Will {Shawn} went to go play with his toys when he heard his Grandpa Roman yelling on the TV. He came out and looked at Tracey and then turned to the TV. Will watched as Abe pulled Roman back into the police station. {3/24/99}

Then Will {Shawn} looked up at Tracey. As she said "Oh, you poor soul." The news had just reported that Sami and Austin were in custody and Sami was going to death row. {3/24/99}

Tracey was worried so she took Will to the police station. It was last thing that Austin or Sami wanted her to do. This scene was shot twice. You can tell by the clothing, Will's jacket is zipped up and then down {look at pictures below}, Tracey's sweater was off then on. Also Tracey's hair and Will's hair is different. Taylor was still used both times. {3/24 and 3/25/99}

Lucas walked up to Tracey and Will as they came in and demanded that Tracey hand over his son. Tracey told Will to stay close. {3/25/99}

Austin asked Tracey why she brought Will {Taylor} out of hiding. Tracey said she couldn't think about Sami not seeing her little boy one last time. {3/25/99}

Tracey and Will were taken to another room while they all talked about Sami and death row. Then Sami was given a chance to talk with Will {Taylor}. Sami to Will: "Hi sweety, my little sunshine." {3/25/99}

Sami to Will {Taylor}: "Talk to me?" Then she told him how much she loved him, and asked him for a hug. When Will hugged Sami she broke down. {3/25/99}

Sami kissed Will on the forehead. Taylor just watched as Sami talked to him. Ali spoke with both Taylor and Shawn about everything that was going to happen before it happened during these scenes. Since the boys are so close to Ali, she wasn't sure they would be able to tell her crying was pretend. So she explained that before hand. {3/25/99}

Sami handed Will {Taylor} over to his Grandma Marlena. Roman, Marlena and Will all watched as Sami left the room. {3/25/99}

Marlena started to cry when Roman reassured her that Sami would be home soon with Will {Taylor}. This is Will's first scene with both of his Grandparents. Since Marlena and Roman are divorced they are not shown together all that much, especially not with Will. {3/25/99}

Austin turned to Marlena and Will and said goodbye. Will {Shawn} didn't turn to tell him good bye. {3/25/99}

Kate and Lucas walked over to Marlena to take Will {Shawn} as soon as Sami and Austin left the room. Marlena let them hold him but she was not going to let them leave with her grandson. Kate was talking about taking Will home with her. {3/25/99}

Lucas said "I have rights to my son. You can't keep me from him." Marlena reminded both Kate and Lucas that Lucas was still under court orders to stay away from Will {Shawn}. So Will would be going home with Marlena not Kate. {3/25/99}

As the camera moved around to the back of Kate, Shawn peeked over Kate's shoulder. He looked so sad, and was looking at something off stage. {3/25/99}

Sami was daydreaming again about Austin and Will {Shawn}. When they came they brought good news, telling Sami that she was free. {4/9/99}
