Taylor and Shawn Carpenter

Austin took Will to see his mom one last time. She was going to be executed at 12am. Will stood on the bench next to Austin. Sami said, "You are getting so big. It seems like forever since I saw you last."

Sami sent Will with his Grandpa Shawn to go get a candy while she talked with Uncle Austin for a minute. Taylor went with his Grandpa and returned a few minutes later, without candy.

Sami leaned close to Will and he laid his forehead up against hers. Sami called him a sleepy head.

Sami told Will, "It's time to go home and go to bed. I love you." Taylor as Will.

Taylor looked over to the side before his said his line. He got a cue from Austin Peck to ask Sami to go home with him.

Taylor said, "Will you come home?" He was very proud, giving a smile and then looking at Ali for her response. Sami explained that she couldn't home but she loved him very much.

Sami told him, "Remember, I am always with you."

Austin picked Will up and said, "Give your mommy a BIG kiss."

Will {Taylor} leaned in for his big kiss.

Sami took Will into arms and said, "My big boy, you go off to dreamland now. I love you." Austin took Will and walked to the door.

Sami said, "Will, dream about me." Austin and Will turned back one last time to say bye. Will said, "Bye, Mommy" and gave a little wave. As Austin and Will were walking down the hall, Will yelled out, "I love you, mommy." At that moment Sami broke down in her brother Eric's arms.

As Sami was being executed, her life flashed before her. She had one last thought about her son, Will {Shawn} bringing her a Mother's Day picture. {4/23/99}

The picture was so special because Will drew it just for his mommy. Sami gave Will {Shawn} a big hug, and said thank you. {4/23/99}
