Stephanie Kay Johnson was born February 19, 1990 to Steven and Kayla Johnson. Her mother went into labor while on the stand in her trial for murdering Marina Toscano. She was born at University Hospital.Stephanie Kay was named after both of her parents. Her mother named her Stephanie, a derivative of Steven and her father named her Kay, after Kayla. Steve had wanted to name her Kayla, but Kayla said it would be too confusing and chose Stephanie instead.
