Andrea (born July 3, 1976) originated the role of Carrie Brady in 1981. In 1984, she won a Soap Opera Award for Outstanding Youth Actress for her portrayal. She continued in the role until 1986 when the character was aged a bit and Christie Clark took over. During the 1985-86 season, she appeared on The New Twilight Zone in an episode called "If She Dies." She went on to star in Full House as neighbor Kimmie Gibbler. Caroline Anna Brady

Andrea and her on-screen father, Wayne Northrop had a fabulous relationship. They often joked around with each other, even at public appearances.

Andrea got along very well with all of her Days costars, even though she didn't share much time with them onscreen. Here she is with Quinn Redeker {Alex, L} and Peter Reckell {Bo, R}.

When Carrie came to Salem with her mother, she knew lots about her dad already. She was excited to meet him. {Photos courtesy Ken}

Marlena meets Carrie for the first time. Carrie was supposed to wait outside but she came in anyway. Marlena is introduced to Carrie as Dr. Evans. She tells Carrie that she is a "pretty little girl." {Photos courtesy Jennifer}

Carrie replies, "I look like my daddy" and Marlena tells her "yes, you do look just like your daddy." {Photos courtesy Jennifer}

Roman was supposed to take Carrie to the park. She came in upset and told him that he made mommy cry. Roman explained why he made mommy cry. She listened to him and seemed happy with his explanation. Then Marlena mentioned getting some peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for Roman and Carrie's picnic. Carrie then tells her "and one for you" and invites her to the park. Marlena accepts and they leave the hospital. {Photos courtesy Jennifer}

Roman gives Carrie a piggyback ride in the park around in a circle as Marlena laughs at him. Carrie won't let her horsey stop. She finally tells him "whoa" when she sees a man selling pinwheels. Roman asks her which one she wants. {Photos courtesy Jennifer}

Carrie pointed at the pinwheel and he got it for her. She gives him a hug and tells him, "I love you daddy." {Photos courtesy Jennifer}

They start eating their sandwiches, but Carrie wants to feed the birds, so she takes her sandwich to them. {Photos courtesy Jennifer}

Roman and Marlena discussed what Carrie might know about Anna's time on the boat. They began kissing. Carrie came up to ask why they were kissing. {Photos courtesy Jennifer}

They explain why and then ask Carrie questions about the boat. She answers them and then asks "do you love me daddy?" and she gets another hug. {Photos courtesy Jennifer}

David dropped off Scotty at Roman's so that he would play with Carrie. This was about the second time that Scotty saw Carrie, and he still didn't like the idea of having to play with a girl so he didn't pay much attention to her. {Photos courtesy Ken}

Carrie asked Scotty if he wants to play with her doll, "Dolly." Scott indignantly said, "Boys don't play with dolls!" This saddened Carrie. {Photos courtesy Ken}

Scotty felt bad about making Carrie sad, so he decided that it wouldn't hurt to look at Dolly. This cheered Carrie right up as she proudly handed the doll to him. {Photos courtesy Ken}

Scotty decided that the doll was very pretty, to Carrie's delight. Afterwards, Scotty asked Carrie if she wanted to check out his new baseball mitt. {Photos courtesy Ken}

Carrie eagerly said yes, but then asked Scotty, "What's baseball?" Since she'd lived on a yacht all of her life, there were many things that she didn't know. "YOU'RE KIDDING!" said Scotty. He couldn't believe that she didn't know what baseball is. Marlena then explained to Scotty that Carrie had grown up on a ship. {Photos courtesy Ken}

The subject soon turned to baseball teams, and Carrie suddenly remarked that she loved the Mets. She didn't know what they were, but Anna had once told her that they were Roman's favorite team, so she liked them too. Anna had told Carrie all sorts of details about Roman that Carrie never forgot, which caused her to love her father even before she met him. {Photos courtesy Ken}

Scotty was amazed that Carrie knew about the Mets and invited her to his apartment to look at his baseball cards. Scotty was especially proud of his Fernando Valenzuela. Carrie obviously didn't know who he was, but said "Whoa!" anyway. {Photos courtesy Ken}

Andrea looked great in her pink gown. She loved being the flower girl.

After Roman and Marlena's wedding, Carrie asked Marlena if this meant she was her new mommy now. Marlena asked if that was what she wanted and she said, "I do."

Roman and Marlena's wedding made the three of them a true family.

Roman, Marlena and Carrie were one happy family.

When the twins Eric and Sami, came along it just added to the joy.

Carrie is one of those lucky Salem kids who is equally loved by her mom {Anna, Leann Hunley} and her step mom {Marlena, Deidre Hall}.

Andrea submitted recipes for the 1983 Days of our Lives Celebrity Cookbook which was put together by Gloria Loring. This picture appeared along with her recipes for "Mom's Cheese Buns" and "A Peanut Butter Sandwich."

Andrea enjoyed showing off for the camera.

We're not sure what caused this pout, but we're pretty certain it was just for the camera!

Andrea shined as a young actress when she portrayed a distraught Carrie, who learned her father was dead.

Carrie loved her daddy, even though she's only known him half of her life. She couldn't believe she'd lost him.
