Sami, Eric and Carrie often
visited their dad at the police station when he was working.
They'd get to ride in the police car if they were on their
best behavior.
In March 1990, Ashleigh
appeared on Santa Barbara in her only other soap role. Cruz
and Eden took a camping trip, where they met up with two
children, Buck and Hallie. {pics

Cruz and Eden ended up in a
cabin after their adventures in their tent were one mishap
after another. They were awakened in the middle of the night
by a noise. It was Buck outside the cabin window. He
explained to Cruz and Eden that his sister, Hallie, had
fallen into a well. Cruz goes out to look for Hallie and
finds her safe and sound. Buck
{Kevin
Michaels}
and Hallie confess that
they've actually run away from their school. Cruz and Eden
enjoy talking with the children and agree to take them back
to school the next day. {pics

Buck and Hallie returned to
their school, which was actually part of an orphanage. Buck
and Hallie's parents were dead and they were looking to be
adopted. However, Buck was unwilling to consider being a
part of any family that wouldn't also take his sister.

Derek Griffin (James Healy)
bonded with the kids, since he had once been an orphan in
the same orphanage. {pics

Eden {Marcy Walker} became
very attached to the children, especially Hallie.

She and Cruz wanted to adopt
them, since it seemed no one else was willing to adopt them
together. {pics

Ashleigh had a recurring role
on L.A. Law as Chloe Hammond, the daughter of Corinne, a
woman Arnie Becker {Corbin Bernsen} dated. This was the
first episode she appeared in, "Outward Bound" on May 10,
1990.
Arnie was helping to get Chloe
ready for school. He was brushing her hair, but Chloe didn't
like his method. She kept saying, "OUCH!"
Corinne put a clip in Chloe's
hair, then gave her lunchbox to her. Chloe was about to head
out the door...
but Arnie called her back,
saying, "Kisses..." She turned around and gave Arnie a kiss.
Chloe then gave her mom a kiss
and Corinne said she'd pick her up after school.
Chloe stopped by the window
outside to give a little wave. Too bad she stopped right
behind the flowers and couldn't be seen. Only her little
hand peered out.
Ashleigh appeared in 5
episodes of L.A. Law as Chloe Hammond.
