Brandon Tyler took the role over from Shane Nicholas. Brandon plays a 16 year old Phillip Kiriakis. Brandon first appeared in October 1999 and his last scene was December 24, 1999.

Just a little info about this newcomer to DAYS... Brandon, born Brandon Tyler Williams, was raised in Spokane, Washington, although his family moved to Montana for a few years when Brandon was a baby. Brandon is of German, Welsh, and Native American descent; his Great Grandmother was a full native American Indian with Cherokee and Blackfoot lineage. His father, Steve, is a sales manager at the Honda dealership in Spokane, and his mother, Lauri, is a technical support leader for an internet company. Brandon enjoys hanging out with his younger sister, Melissa.

Phillip walked into Titan, where everyone was surprised to see him. It wasn't because we hadn't seen the kid for almost a year, but it was because he wasn't in school like he should have been.

Phillip explained he wasn't feeling well and stayed home from school.

Phillip told his mom and sister Billie that he was going to go to Salem Place and hang out but he ran out of cash.

Kate pulled Phillip over to the side and explained that if he was well enough for Salem Place, he was well enough school.

Kate asked if he lost his ATM card. He didn't he was just running low. Kate then said she would transfer funds after he went back to school.

Phillip, to his mom: "I knew there was a catch." Phillip left Titan and returned to school.

Phillip and Austin were messing around the morning before the big fight between Brandon Walker and Austin. Phillip was pretending to box with Austin. Austin called Phillip the winner, then Phillip said he was hungry and yelled for Henderson. Austin called him a spoiled brat.

Phillip told Austin he wanted to be sure to shake the winner's hand before the big fight. Phillip couldn't have been more wrong. Austin lost the fight because Brandon lost control. Nicole was watching Phillip and Austin the whole time and made sure to let them know that her brother Brandon never lost a fight.

Phillip talked with Mimi about Shawn and Belle leaving for the hospital after the big fight between Shawn and Jason. Phillip was busy fixing his hair, not even a little concerned about his nephew getting hurt.

Phillip then turned and asked Mimi "Who does Belle like?" Mimi wouldn't answer him.

Phillip watched as Lucas bet five grand on Brandon Walker. Lucas is married to Nicole Walker, so that makes Brandon his brother-in-law.

Phillip pulled Lucas over and said, "Aren't you supposed to bet on Austin?" Lucas said, "I don't want to waste good money on our brother. Face it, our older brother is a loser." Phillip didn't like this comment.

Phillip turned around and right behind Lucas' back he bet two grand on Austin.

Phillip was at the hospital with everyone else. He was very worried about his older brother. Austin was in serious condition after the fight. Brandon went off like an animal and starting punching Austin. He knocked him out.

Phillip meet with his bookie on Christmas Eve 1999. The bookie wanted his 5 grand in cash. Phillip still didn't have the money.

The bookie's hitman was ready to take Phillip out. Instead the bookie wanted Phillip marked for life. He had the hit man carve a message in Phillip's forehead.

Phillip was left for dead. This was the last time we saw Brandon Tyler as Phillip. The role was recast with Jay Johnson in the next episode.

Brandon enjoyed working with everyone on the DAYS set. He was sad to be leaving but we're sure we will see him again in the future.

Jason Cook and Brandon looking great in their muscle shirts. Jason and Brandon only got to know one another for a short while. The two were hired together and hung out alot together. Even now that Brandon is off the show they still hang out together, they even hang with Jay K. Johnson who replaced Brandon as Phillip.
