One of Camilla's earliest roles was in the June 1985 HBO film "Workin for Peanuts" The movie starred Jessica Steen and Carl Marotte. Camilla appeared briefly in a scene as a friend of Jessica Steen's character. Camilla's most significant storyline as Melissa was her love story with Brian Scofield. An unconventional pair, they found happiness together, along with Fluffy, his dog.
The Hortons and Bradys held a vigil at Tom and Alice's house when a number of their family members were in Lawrence's country. Melissa comforted her grandfather, saying she knew they'd be together at Christmas.
The Horton Children and Grandchildren performed for Alice at Christmas in 1990. Alice had just gotten a new pacemaker and the kids performed a rap to tell Alice how happy they were that she was healthy again.
In 1991, Camilla was part of a large photo shoot for Soap Opera Update. She posed for a series of pictures with costars Charlotte Ross and Billy Hufsey. It was Camilla's biggest magazine feature during her years on the show.
Camilla brought a new dynamic to the role of Melissa. For the first time, Melissa became a singer. She sang often at Blondie's, alone or with Emilio.
Melissa and Emilio's relationship became a bit more than business. It ended when Emilio was killed.
During the Christmas season in 1997, Camilla appeared in Jack and the Beanstalk at the Elgin Theater in Canada. She played Princess Apricot, Jack's love interest.
Camilla hosted her own Ricki Lake sort of talk show, The Camilla Scott Show in Canada from 1996-1999. There she gained a large fan following, which has led to many additional roles.
Tom Melissis, Ramona Milano, Tony Craig, Dean McDermott, Camilla Scott and Beau Starr joke on the Due South Set the final season. Camilla is eating what appears to be cookies. Camilla played Meg Thatcher on the show from 1995-98.
In March 2000, Camilla held the recurring role of Natalie Copeland, the San Cristobel protocol chief on Guiding Light. It was her first soap appearance since leaving the role of Melissa.
In April 1999, Camilla appeared in the play Three Days of Rain at the Canadian Stage where she played both Nan and Lina. Also pictured is costar Michael McManus.
In the summer of 2000, Camilla began appeared in the musical Romancin' the One I Love, a musical adaptation of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. Camilla is in the lead role of Kate in the show and has gotten rave reviews. One critic said, "Camilla Scott will romance and dance her way into your heart." The play is at the Garden Theatre in Toronto.
