Roman had the very hard task of telling Carrie that Marlena was dead. Carrie asked "Where is she? Is she coming?" Roman/John said "No, she's not coming." Carrie: "Was she kidnapped?" |

|
Roman explained she was in an accident at the house. John said, with tears in his eyes, "Marlena died tonight." |

Carrie said, "But you said she would come home and we would always be together and be a family." Roman said, "Try to understand, it's not your fault or mine. Sometimes things just happen." Carrie, in tears said, "I don't understand." |

Carrie: "I want her back." Roman : "Me too." This scene by far was one of Christie's all time best acting jobs. Especially as a young rising actress. |

Carrie and Roman spent yet another Christmas at the Brady's. This was a hard Christmas for them. Marlena had just "died" a few weeks earlier. |
|
Carrie and her dad had to make it on their own and be strong for the twins. Carrie struggled with this. She didn't want to go to sleep because she was afraid something might happen to her dad. |

During her years on Days, Christie attended a regular public school on the days she didn't work. (She had a tutor on the set when she was there.) Here she is in her 1987 Yorba Middle School Yearbook picture as a 7th grader. |

Roman told Carrie that he was going to have to leave for a little while. Carrie was very understanding. Roman didn't tell her that he was going to look for Marlena, after finding proof that she was still alive. |

Carrie had ups and downs like any young teen. She had a lot to deal with at a very young age. |
